So far she doesn't strike me as someone of importance, as she doesn't seem too different than your typical perverted senpai who loves to tease her kouhai (which ironically, Issei doesn't seem to care about, given his perversion). I like how she's capable of bringing herself as Rias' right hand man with her typical speech pattern ("Ara ara") and yeah, her sadistic nature and ridiculously huge lightning bolt are probably some of her trademark, making her more than she actually is. However, story-wise, she's probably one of characters with severe lack of character development (though i suspect probably she will get some in later story), with nothing of importance actually revolve around her so far, and as such, she's pretty much a forgettable character.

And btw, Ito shizuka seems doesn't really fit her speech style if i may honest

Well, Akeno is mainly just plaing around right now. And it's true that her story have not been fleshed out yet. Each volume of the LN is mostly dedicated to one of the side characters. The two of the first season were focused on Asia and Rias, the current one is Kiba. Saying anything more would be a spoiler.

if you are all wondering about akeno and her place in the series i suggest you read the light novel

as for the anime it hasnt gotten that far yet so if you dont want to read the light novel just be patiant and you will see just how bad ass she can be

Seeing and hearing is believing.

One must experience Akeno, not just 'read' about her. Granted, it's not my ear that she's nibbling on but I have a good imagination.

Trust me, the best of Akeno's scenes ALWAYS have an illustration to depict how awesome she is. Also Ishibumi does an AMAZING job of giving a description of the events and also the sensation of how each of the girls feel. In many ways the ln outdoes the anime, although the anime has stayed very true to the ln there are some scenes that are actually depicted better in the ln than they are in the anime (such as the most recent pool scene). Not to mention certain facts and scenes have not been animated (though atm none involving Akeno).

Edit: My mistake, there is ONE scene to my knowledge that does not have an illustration depicting how awesome she is, but much as it would be appreciated, it is most definitely not needed.
