A few years ago I saw an anime i would like to see again, but don't remember the title.
I try to be short. Main character a young girl, setting a guesthouse in old Japan. People who work there help her to hide by letting her work there. The owner is a big fat lady or man with a dog who lives on the topfloor of the guesthouse. The girl is important but she doesn't know why. I have this image stored of a bridge leading to the guesthouse. Near the end of the story, the girl has to find one hiding place after another in the guesthouse. Don't remember the end.
Does somebody recognise this?

Could be Berserk (2012 movie, judging from the quality).
Has a scene like that with a short haired girl.

I am trying to find a manga series I dont know if it is completed or if its on going still

what I remember about it is in the story plot a girl who is the vice president of a school is trying to get the main male character to become the new stuco pres so that she can find her older brother who years before went through some kind of door and the other student council members try to stop him this manga has the main character and the student council members having animal dna the character has wolf dna and one of the members had saber tooth tiger dna and during their battle he punched the guy and broke the saber teeth .

thats most of what I remember about the manga it had some elements of norse myth in it the main characters wolf dna changed his personality to an alpha wolfs
and the vice pres seems to be some kind of off switch whenever he was in alpha wolf mode and tried to dominate the other female stuco members he would revert back to normal !

if anyone knows the name of this series it would be a big help

Or rather, was released in subs early sometime this year. It involved this strong mercenary that never worked under anyone and only fought for money; however, he came across an opponent (blonde/long haired swordsman) who he lost to and had to serve under him due to losing. That person was the leader of this band of mercenaries who's purpose was to be recognized by fellow kingdoms, to be granted nobility and land. They eventually got it. The main character beats the leader and leaves which disheartens the leader so badly.

Tldr, near the end, hell breaks loose and how the leader becomes a demon king a part of these demons. The mercenary tries to save him but the leader basically accepts the demon power and betrays the mercenary (he ends up getting his arm cut off by his own hand in an attempt to save his girl).

I'm positive it came out this year, I watched it, but I forgot the name.

That's Berserk, the movie trilogy.

There's also a TV-series but that's older (and better too)
