I suppose it means nothing since "reverse" and "rebirth" both result in the same katakana when transliterated into Japanese. But logically Rebirth captures what the ability is better. |

Yeah that's it. After I have read Omni's blog it seems many people still misunderstand about his power. Though his "Auto Rebirth" can recover the physical injury,it's recovering speed and effect is not great as its sound. It's just like an auto-first aid. Even it safe him from a severe wounds caused by using magic ,it still take many hours for him in a near-death state before complete recovery. It's just a life-saver power not an instant recovery like wolverines's , so it's useless in battle. Not to mentioned that the power ranking is judge by how powerful and effective used that power is. "Auto Rebirth" is a passive power. The user can't control it , and it's not that powerful. That's why it was ranked as Level 0. |

^lol i dont even think Touma even remember's Index's power does he? so he cant really make use of it..
would tsuchimikado's(however u spell it) healing power work when he's dead? because..it sorta seemed like he died and came back to life. or maybe he was on the very brink of it

Probably.
Or, he might have prepared his ESP ability before he even starts casting his spells, thus causing his ability to be invoked after he finished it and sustains injury due to casting the spell.

I think I was feeling absolutely incredulous that a mega-spell that could destroy the whole world was conceived completely by random. I was expecting some mega plot exposition by Touma's dad, something like "How I want you to live in a better world..." etc, etc. It may be cliched, at least it's not as ridiculous as "completely random".
And then there's the cop-out way of how Tsuchimikado survived in the end. And Kanzaki's explanation of how her "fusion religion" stuff having a chance against Misha was totally lost on me. Pity that's the last we see of Misha, I was beginning to like her. I guess not being able to buy the books due to my local bookstores running out of stock was a blessing in disguise. Index's moe-ness is the only saving grace of this episode. Why am I not surprised that Touma's mom is voiced by Inoue Kikuko? A decade ago, she's your standard "onee-san" voice, now she's your standard "MILF" character. (Think Clannad) |

Gosh, that was the most lackluster and anti-climatic ending in an arc in this series. I couldn't feel any animosity from the villian, Kanzaki thanking Touma when he didn't do anything didn't make sense, and Touma ending up in the hospital for getting hit 3 or 4 times was ridiculous. Even the fighting was weak . No tension whatsoever.
Does Touma end EVERY arc in the hospital? |
