Japan almost never gives away anything in previews for the last ep of anime, so it's not surprising they used the old clips of Lelouch and Suzaku as children.
I'm not entirely sure how I feel about the episode itself... as Vakir said, it really was equally dumb and awesome. I'll wait until I see the HD raw to give my final verdict + thoughts. My net crapped out, but did Kallen end up saying her gum line to C.C.? If not, does that mean another week of speculation on the context + delivery?! Geass has a way of ending on an extremely exciting high. Sad that it's going to come to an end in another week, but it's been a nice ride. But as I ranted about: Spoiler:

Geez, Cornelia was already confirmed alive when the correlative chart (www.geass.jp/correlative.html) did not show her as dead.
Guilford not being dead is a surprise, but it's not THAT impossible. After all, he was barely outside of the Freya blast and when his communications shut off, that did not necessarily mean he died, it just meant his knightmare's communication system stopped working. |
