Seriously, Da Vinci is the 'expected' rennaisance genius people think of. Whatever it is that's related to Galileo Galilei, it may have less to do with inventions and more to do with theories. Do remember the Church made Galileo recant the theory that earth revolved around the sun. It's likely that Galileo had other discoveries that remained hidden because of similar reasons.

Spoiler for Episode 2:

The new episode was really thrilling to watch. Hozuki encounters a young lady named Anna who helps her facing struggles to save her family in prison. The action ensues between them and an evil organization disguised as police, and I liked how Kazuki uses her karate skills to apprehend the director. Too bad their parents are sacrificing, letting their daughters going on an adventure with Anna. I find out that the direction, which seemed confusing the first time, actually has the potential to be adventurous and I would love to see what countries will the girls explore in search of the mystery. I appreciated the unexpected outcome the series delivers and we will see how it goes despite its short episode format.

I didn't expect the youngest to be the main character, maybe the others will play an important part.

Yeah, I assume the other two sisters will get to be more useful as the show progresses. So far it's the little sister doing most of the heavy lifting. I also like how the dirty cops are the most realistic element in the show.

What pisses me off is the cops are crooked too and yet they will not hurt the cops that are trying to kill them.. If I was in that mecha they would of been shot in the legs so they could not fight anymore. Shoot them all in the legs and walk out safe!

I had to take a look at the mother being shot or hit as I thought it was the top of her head at first but now I think it hit her near the left side maybe the ear or a graze so don't think she is dead.. At least I hope not.

Appears that laboratory was not able to be unlocked by anyone but Hazuki figured out the lock and was building her inventions in there. Her mother was surprised that she was able to figure the lock out.

Roflmao. I'm just amazed that none of those policemen seemed to have any concept of taking cover.

I'm still enjoying this show though. I like the idea of the Galileo family solving their dysfunctional family issues and pulling through for one another whilst going on an adventure. It's like a cross between Castle in the Sky and The Incredibles.

I agree and there'd be more blood if she was shot I think. Plus it'd be stupid to release her then to kill her since she potentially has some useful information and she at worst could be used as bait.
Good episode and there's this adventure atmosphere which I like.

Episode 2 was fantastic. Loads of fun!

Not sure how I feel about the police being this crooked, though. I mean, you usually only see police this bad in dystopian fiction. But I suppose it's possible that this setting is somewhat dystopian. If so, I hope it gets a good exploration.

As is, the characters are loads of fun and Hozuki is the best kid character I've seen in anime in a long time. She's really adorable. I love how she's eager to please, and so energetic, and so emotional while still being largely sensible.
