Well, he went to 3 All-Star games and won the AL MVP award in 1987. Not too shabby.

Geroge Bell is not even the best BP from Dominican Republic., He was one of the best from DR, but not the Best in Baseball history, including Dimaggio, Ruth, Koufax, Mantle, Griffey, etc.

Griffey has been a real disappointment this decade. He should've stayed with the Mariners.

You're ignoring that whole... x factor. That's what made Bell great. That and many other things.

Jae Seo is the latest MLB player with the x factor. The Mets may have traded him, but he pwns nonetheless (currently in the World Baseball Classic).

What X-factor? I think bomb is just talking about Bell because thats the only toronto player he can remember from his youth that was any good!

Joe Carter > George Bell

Andre Dawson > George Bell

When I think of the early 90s Blue Jays, I think of the Mets trading Cone for Kent and then wasting him.

Haha, yet another disappointing second baseman for the Mets. Alomar dropped off a cliff right after the Mets traded for him. What a waste.

The Yankees do suck, but the Red Sox need to hope that Beckett doesn't get injured again.

The Blue Jays need to overcome no one caring about them anymore.

Red Sox got lucky two years ago. It's obvious from last year they don't have what it takes to get back to the WS again.

Clemens seems to really be losing it. Every time I watched a Houston game, I was never really impressed by him, especially last year.

Why on Earth did we have him pitch?

And my post never denied he was great, but not the greatest in Baseball History, And as I know every Dominican BP that has ever played, I can say that George Bell is in a 5th place (if we put in the list Alex Rodriguez), we Got Marichal, and Ricardo Carti (considered by almot everyone to be the best from DR).

But this was due to his Injuries, but when healthy, you saw what he was able to do last year, and we are talking someone that never juiced himself up. But I do agree he should have stayed in Seattle.

WTF? Clemens led the national league last year in ERA.

Then why wasn't he the Cy Young winner? Sure, you can get a good ERA against poor teams, but overall the big bats still got to him.
