Here is the summary from official site, translate by 4chan.

Quote:
The ‘MIND TRANCE’ SF produced by Goro Taniguchi, Yosuke Kuroda and Sanzigen is opening here for the world!

“I-Machines” are a catch-all term for large robots to perform work in harsh environments. Academy student Maya Mikuri runs into an accident while handling some I-Machine work—only to be rescued, still in I-Machine form, by a ship from Escavate, an Orichalt excavation firm and de-facto band of pirates. There, she finds herself forced to work as part of their crew...
ID-0 is a robotic-action show like nothing before, set in the far reaches of deep space. It’s the latest team-up between Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion director Goro Taniguchi and Mobile Suit Gundam 00 writer Yosuke Kuroda.
Character concepts are provided by Last Exile’s Range Murata, while Gundam 00’s Kanetake Ebikawa is handling mechanical designs. The producer is Sanzigen, known for their heavily-praised work in cel-like 3DCG. Together, they’re ready to offer a full-3DCG experience, featuring charming characters, amazing I-Machines, and a deep-space spectacle like none seen before.
And as she works with the crew—each with their own idiosyncrasies—Maya will learn what being “human” really means.

Is it hope, or despair hiding in the lost memories?

It looks like the speculations were on the mark, instead of cute girls doing cute things this is space Avatar with conflict over some sort of unobtanium rock.

Well, since a fan translation was made of episode 1 I will move this series to the "Current" section ... of course also for those who watch it raw and the like. ^^

The story's so damn good, yet the lack of subbing's really hurting this. I fully expected some stupid idol show with random mech thrown in there based on promo, but this is honestly one of my top 3 this season. The story's pretty meticulous and the characterization's way solid compare to some other anime originals. This and Kado = 3D master race.

Anyone know if this is one cour only?

Spoiler for Episode 2:

Subs are out for episode 2. That is high intensity mining mixed with bullet cosplay.

Well I guess no one is watching this which is a shame because so far it is the best Sci-fi show of the season.

I am, the characters are walking cliches, but the story is starting to really grow on me though

I'm watching this show, and yeah, the story has really picked up in the last few episodes.

Does have an incredibly cheesy end title song though.

It doesn't help that Netflix has streaming rights to this.

ep10: Wow, looks like Ido used to be a real asshole. Worse than the big bad, whose motivations aren't all bad.

Yeah, I can't really blame Addams for what he did to Kane/Ido. Unfortunately, now he's being blinded by his own hubris.
