Ah..... I see rightstuf deducted my bank for the amount of Toradora's first DVD release. I'll take that as a clue they're shipping it. Hopefully, its a remastered set instead of the original "problematic" set of DVDs (see the licensing thread for what to do if you get one of the "ghosting" initial sets. The manufacturer will exchange them for corrected DVDs).

In figure news, these snuck up on me. The Toradora series Beach Queens.
I must admit the Ami figure is HNNNNNNNNNGGG (if I'm spelling that right). Taiga looks like a fine little doll and Minori is frenetic as usual. This is insanely cute..... but not quite sure it passes my "PG" test for display.... but have it ordered it and we'll just see. Technically its no more "skinnerific" than Etona.
http://www.hlj.com/product/qsq84039 (figure of Taiga in neko sexy mode) edit: somehow I missed seeing the release of the second part of the series as distributed from NIS... ordered that as well to complete my Toradora series.

Got my "second half" collector edition of the Toradora! series. I like the NIS packaging though it doesn't "fit" in the rack with the other series (rather like the L*S or Haruhi series have to have their own rackspace).

Hmm, wasn't there an announcement a bit back that there would be a pack-set of Toradora with all the episodes and it would come with a special OVA? I've been looking all over, but I can't seem to find any info on it or a release date.
