WHAT????

That was just strange. No idea where the story is going and I don't care, any series that has someone sucking the juices from a dead seagull's arse in the first ten minutes has got to be worth watching.

You have to wonder how many viewers they lost at that moment, though!

Well they nearly lost me, but that was my fault for watching on a full stomach I guess...Defiantly have to rectify that mistake when I watch the next episode for sure.

But yea those microbes are pretty damn cute...

I loved how well Haruka Hasegawa was in the show. The show its-self is something like I would never imagine (wish I'd have thought of it 1st). The humor on the campus was really good.

I thought of some American tv series and Arkansas the state a few times through the 1st show . There are 3 super fall shows that just started, lots that are really really good, this one is 1st or 2nd to me.

while watching through, it suddenly reminds me of honey and clover. Just take away arts and replace it with agriculture.

from above, i realised that it's also from noitamina as well. no wonder

impressive so far, beside annoying, stubborn hasegawa

Just got finished watching the 1st episode, I think this will shape up to be really good, it kinda reminds me of Mushishi. It kinda gets annoying to have to pause and read the note at the top every time they show a bacteria but at least I am learning stuff.

This is one charming series! It's catching me from episode one. I think (like many other series) it's inspired by the classic ' Mushishi' (mentioned before by e.g. mman426 - any successful genre/topic is usually replicated asap of course ) but goes in a different direction, which makes it even more interesting!
And seriously, those bacteria are just TOO CUTE! If only yeast cells really looked like that, I'd happily dedicate my life to becoming a microbiologist!
Personally haven't checked the facts but they are interesting -am very glad BSS actually took the time to put them in!

It's only been a week, if they're doing what they've been doing, you actually have to do some research for this. Being a week or two off isn't that bad.

Very interesting show. I guess originality is a rare thing these days, and these guys managed to do it.

From reading Random Curiosity blog, this show is not easy to translate. Lot of scientific terms are being used. I guess the translator is flipping through a Japanese/English Science dictionary like crazy.

It is pretty difficult, but to be honest, our translator is pretty busy. He is a med student and a native speaker, so the translation isn't very difficult for him, especially with all the information on the official site. The translation has been finished though, so you guys can expect a release today or tomorrow.
