not about the story line cuz i am a manga reader too but the slow pacing and animation quality is what i talk about

My bets are .... It ends after I help you fight this guy and you go help him fight the other guy

Means the episode gonna stop once each fights have determined its contestants.. we have 2 bad guys and 4 good guys (well, 2 guys and 2 gals)

And let the bitching begins .. like it doesn't started yet, eh

My bet is that we will get half a episode of dialogue between Akatasuki and co then the rest will about what those things that came out ground/water etc are and what they plan to do.

Nah, it will be flashbacks to something totally irrelevant to the current situation, then lots of Naruto yelling and screaming, Sasori and Obassan having a stare-down without any dialogue between them, Kakashi standing there reading and Sakura wondering what the heck is going on.

THEN, we go outside and the episode ends with "those things" solidifying with lots of reaction shots of Team Gai (and Gai with stupid looks on his face).

the episode was okay, im kinda angry they skip next week though. mainly i like the parts with deidara and sasori only i dont really much care for gais battle with themselves. Sasoris orange faceplate looks kinda retarded but yeah.. i love the new music when chiyo started the battle with sasori ^^ reminds me of the old naruto type of stuff, very cool music. all and all it wasnt bad lol

Decent ep, but does anyone else think that Narutos gonna be every 2 weeks now?

since the last 4 weeks we had only got 2 eps, and apparently the next ep will be in 2 weeks

If this translates to a better paced episode than it currently is, then it will be a blessing in disguise. In that case, I am all for an episode per every 2 weeks.

Unfortunately this 2 weeks per episode most likely a limited adjustment by the network channels to accomodate all the new shows that are currently airing for the past few weeks. There are also baseball games, the upcoming all-star games, and other kind of sports occupying the network channel that are conflicting with the usual schedule for when shows such as Naruto are airing. Things should be back to normal once these network channels sort things out in the next couple of weeks.

I can't say i was disappointed since my expectations were already low as is. I had a feeling it was going to end up being this way, and prolonging Narutos fight. Which I also think will be a mess. kakashi will probably do most of the work while naruto acts stupid. But that wont happen for like 3 weeks at this rate.

Wow, they skip a week and they're still going slow. This is horrible. I think I'm just gonna stick stricktly to Naruto manga now. I started watching Claymore, so hopefully that can somewhat take naruto's place.

But that wont happen for like 3 weeks at this rate. Spoiler: Just felt so slow, arguing about art and other then fighting those things, no action at all. They will probably have next weeks episode all about sakura, then week after that it might be naruto but they may prolong that a week further. I was really looking forward to this episode, was really hoping I would see Naruto get pissed off and do something, but nope. They could have showed this episode last week and only watching the next one, I would not have missed too much. Lets see how sakura does fighting. __________________ The past does not dictate the future.
