I think a part of the votes are tongue-in-cheek, like how the author seems to roll. We are talking about a guy who is wondering how a series that cruelly destroys every signs of shipping instead of just teasing them could get popular to begin with. Danshi Koukousei no Nichijou universe, and its fans, works in mysterious ways.

I dread the next week, because I know I am going to bid farewell to the cast of Danshi Koukousei no Nichijou.
