New Gundam Rumour?: Screenshots of UC in CE style?
I came across this interesting series of screenshots. I was hoping somebody could possibly track down a source as to whether this is a fake or authentic. The quality at least looks more than real.
Spoiler:
At first I thought it was a well done black and white fake, but then I noticed something completely out of place. There are Gelgoogs, Rick DOM's and many other UC only machines in the pictures. Secondly is the faint TV Tokyo watermark I'm unsure about which appears in every corner. So what is this? Fake? Remake of UC? Or SEED shamelessly ripping off every last UC MS it can get its grubby mits on? Hopefully somebody can clear this up. |

the shading of the 2nd screenshot seems inconsistent. I think I know what screen you're talking about with the Gelgoog, but it doesnt really match. The 3rd screen looks more like a Dom.
All in all, its hard to say how new it is without color. And any UC likelinesses seem more like imitations and influences rather than evidence of a new UC series. |

Maybe somebody might recognize it as a parody from another series? But the only other series I know of that uses that art style in mechs is Keroro Gunsou and I don't know about the newest eps since I'm only in late 70's epwise.

I remember hearing about a show that has mobile suits despite not being part of the Gundam franchise (Okawara apparently made the mechs for that series, including a Zaku look-alike). Maybe this is that particular show?

By the way, just to further dispel this rumor. Those were screenshots from the third-episode of Galaxy Angel-Lune. Oh, and they used the exact sound effects from Gundam too, including the all too infamous 'eye tuning' sound effect for the Zaku.
