I really think he gets temped(seduced) here, he wants help her, save her, but there some ones, you already heard about them in ep 25. She already said, she isn't the big one, she is the public face a tool, her unique hope is Shiroe. (these are my thoughts)

when Nureha describe herself as ugly it is not about her physical appearance but what she perceive about her inner self. Nureha is a girl with a lot of issues.

I'm pretty sure it does not. His official website only lists 9 parts. Which probably roughly corresponds to one Log Horizon novel seeing as the webnovel drafts of those are 9 parts as well. So unless he has more of it posted elsewhere, he's done only one volume's worth of it, which would be about 5 chapters in the published version (each chapter being sub divided into 5 or 6 parts). So yeah, based off what I can find, no matter how you cut it, it doesn't reach 60 of anything.

Well, since it was watered down in the anime Spoiler:
I feel bad for Nureha yet can't blame Shiroe for barely remembering her, since me neither is great at remembering people I have had not interacted with in a long time. |

And explaining why she thought of herself as ugly, would have required going into details not suitable for the show. |

So, season 1 finale! Great stuff, Marvis' plan was quite sloppy and he got dominated by the round table masters...but another interesting character has appeared :O
First things first, Nureha's V.A. is perfect for her role. Her conversation with Shiroe was waaaay too dodgy to make much out of it, but I like how she isn't portrayed as pure evil or anything - just another adventurer with her own plans. I totally expected Shiroe's rejection, but there's room for many what if's...like getting her to accompany him on his journeys outside of Akiba or having her in his party, DTP-style. ...speaking of which, we got jack squat on mysterious captain girl from Shiroe's party. Didn't see that coming ._. |

He was simply able to identify her, through intelligent guess.

I guess they had to leak out some information to ward off suspicion instead of having people poke around because of curiosity.
The preview of the guard system becoming sentient is pretty nice though. Looks like the world is gradually changing in unexpected ways.

Also, Shiroe did remember her in the novels. Not if he had said anything to her, but partying with her several times in the past (though he only recalled it after meeting Nureha). There was a bunch a subtle changes to the dialogue that left the thing more confusing at times than it needed to be (and we lost Shiroes internal monologue as well). |

Mamare updated his page with final words to end of S1 and start of S2.
Apparently number of female viewers rose significantly in the second half of the show. I'm sure Krusty helped a lot of that too lol
