I can't disagree more. Just refer to the revelation of Nagisa's pregnancy

First season Nagisa is definitely not the same, otherwise I would have never fallen in love with her character. I kind of feel insulted by your statement

After Story Nagisa had a subtle but significant change and there's a reason why she became my favorite female lead. Episode 23 of the first season is the beginning of her development and she became such a great character as the series progressed.

I highlight yonder subtle.

Twas significant in terms of her character, but she is still quite closed about things, doesn't want to be too much of a fuss to others, and is almost generally the same person, BUT she does improve in all aspects, and does become quite a bit more selfish. :P

Yeah, I kinda noticed that a lot people were voting for Nagisa in the nominating poll at the time. I didn't want want to say anything though. She's got 6 votes so far but i think some character from 11eyes has got way more so it's likely she'll be second place.

Nominating Nagisa for worst female character of 2009? Who in their right minds would nominate Nagisa? Honestly, that's probably the worst choice that I've ever seen. This really disappoints me and it's sad to see her nominated as such. Nagisa should be a choice for best female lead because without her, Tomoya wouldn't have been who he was (who rightfully got nominated for best male lead of 2009.) I don't think Nagisa would have won the best female lead of 2009 because of the extreme popularity of the other choices but I do believe Nagisa should have been a consideration.

Interestingly enough, Nagisa was one of the reasons I watched the show.

I had noted a lot of the shows I enjoyed contained characters voiced by Mai Nakahara, and wasn't really disappointed here.

She definitely is a versatile voice actress.
