Suggestions into more fantasy genre

Well I more or less looking for animes that have funny ears, say like Elven ears or animal peoples. An example could be something similar to Utawarerumono, Spice and wolf or maybe even shuffle. I Kinda having more interest looking into animes that run down that line of fantasy.

any suggestions would be appricated ^_^

World Destruction is good for that.

Tayutama and Wagaya no Oinarisama are along those lines as well, but they're not set in as heavy a fantasy setting as the other mentioned, more of a supernatural thing.

Twelve Kingdoms comes to mind, as does Guin.

Record of Lodoss War has elves and dwarves.
Kekkaishi has spirit dogs.
Shounen Onmiyouji has a prominent character who changes from animal person to god.

The later two are magical, great watches, but maybe not so much along the lines of classical fantasy with elves etc.

Escaflowne had a char with funny ears too, if I remember correctly.

Funny ears should not be too hard to find though. I have not seen it but Chobits should have that, and others. If I think of more, I will post again.

Hmmm... funny ears makes me think first of Crest of The Stars, but that is sci-fi not fantasy.

I been watching Tayutama and Record of Lodoss War so far and I really like them. Thank you for those suggestions. Tayutumama is reminding me a little of that new airing one Omamori Himari, but liking Tayutumana ALOT better

I also have to ask. Is there any animes that have half-dragons ? or dragon people ? or people who can shapechange into dragons forms ? aswell ?

Natsume Yuujinchou even though its more of a supernatural it has some animal spirits and a cute little kid with fox ears and a tail.

If you're interested in the medieval fantasy type then I can recommend Tales of Vesperia: The First Strike. The plot is quite simple and straightforward but it's done well. No one with funny ears though...

I recently watched it (like a week ago) and really quite enjoyed it. Kinda felt sad when the 2nd series ended. Because I kinda wanted it to continue. Theres a manga, so guess thats the only way <.<

Added Tales of Vesperia to my plan to watch ^_^. Just be a matter of when I aquire it ^_^
