1. When Yui and Azusa were practicing singing without blowing out a candle, what exactly were they singing? The subs I watched translated it to "Oh My Darling Clementine", but the way they were singing hardly matched it at all. Or maybe it was the japanese version of it?

2. In one of the early episodes, Mio hit Ritsu and a drawing of her on drums, tongue sticking out, appeared on the screen. Was that supposed to reference something? I'd never seen it in any other anime.

I believe it refers to a certain snack product, but I forgot the name. That expression was also shown by Yui and Sawako when Yui lost her voice after her singing training

The two were practicing an old classic Japanese folk tune.... the fansubbers decided they'd do some "liberal localization" (USA specific) by substituting Clementine. So.... its in the spirit since it drives home the "old fashioned" so I understand the intent of the translation choice - - but not an educational moment for the viewer. Good thing they didn't do that to the japanese children's rain song that Yui and Ui sing.

Do you think Yui's Guitar is scratched/dented up?

I noticed through out the show how she takes cares of her first, and only guitar, but I also noticed that she drops that guitar alot! Plus she recklessly carry's it around (sleeping with it ect lol) I remember in season 1 how she didn't maintain it well, and it came out looking like a mess, and sounding like cats dying.. Sure she learned her lesson (I think?) after that event, but knowing Yui I can only imagine what other unintentional punishment it had took when it was in the hands of Yui

So what do you think the condition of that guitar is in right now?

It is a used instrument, do yeah, fret wear and scratches are given. Dents maybe, but those stuff adds to the character of ones guitar.

Basically, it's a guessing game like the rock-paper-scissors, but we we guess the number of thumbs that'll be raised by the participants. Being the first to guess correctly twice makes you the winner, and the last one is the loser.

I don't know what's the name of the game, though

More like "It's been a while since I checked the K-On! anime so this is the only Azu-nyan centric episode that I can remember off the top of my head."
