I just realised when i watched the raw again but Todou's Zangetsu got hit by one of those pieces of pumice form the erupting mt Fuji. Even though he's not dead thats one less ace for lelouch to deal with.

Way to go Lelouch you deal out divine punishment to those no good mutineers.

Why bring Cornellia back/keep around after the Geas Cult only to do this. Its like one of the writers said, hmmm.. this episode looks like it is going to be kinda boring lets kill someone off...

Haha oh, well Suzaku pilots the Lancelot which is known to sleep with King Arthur's wife (C.C?). Lol but I for one would be pleasantly surprised if that's what it implied but I guess that goes against all the previous "character development"

Because not every character gets to have the death you expect of them. Typical anime tropes and rules dictate that the "warrior princess" needs to have some sort of grand kamikaze finale where she dies taking down a chunk of her enemies army, but since Code Geass R2 makes it's own tropes she gets to die quickly and suddenly in an act that is mostly in vain. Them's the breaks. Just makes the show slightly more realistic in the character sense to me though that characters like Rolo and Shirley can get semi-heroic/tragic deaths yet characters like Cornelia can get cut down like it's nothing.

Kind of reminds me of Zeta Gundam actually. Now if only they could have done something about these mecha battles. Oh well, that's Gundam's forte, whereas character drama is Geass'.

The title of the most badass character on the show has long since been contested ever since Jeremiah came into the fray between him, Kallen and Suzaku. (And maybe Jerry's closest to coming out on top, though the Albion...well.) Cornelia...aside from assissting in taking down V.V., did...almost nothing of worth this season.

The relationship between Lelouch and Kallen is chaotic like that of romance while the relationship between CC and Lelouch is calmer. It's like CC will do whatever it takes to make sure Lelouch gets what he wants, even if it means giving up on her dreams. It's like she's his MOTHER.

CxL was not good because it has not enough development in the eyes of those who don't want CxL, but now SxC is good without anything proof than just a tone in a sol sentence.
