Okay, bumping this thread, but not correcting what's been revealed. I think that there is a decent chance Urahara has vizard powers because he did create the hyogyoku & it would have to be tested to know what it does. Also this would be the appropriate place to speculate where his power would rank in the captains graph.

I think he created it myself. He has an answer for everything it seems. I wonder what his bankai will be....

Yeah, the way he made it sound, the things gotta be pretty badass. Urahara vs Aizen will/would be great. I'm sure he has a counter so he can't be hypnotized by Aizen. What other good guy has never been in near death danger besides him?

Isn't his command for Benihime "sing"? Maybe it uses sound to paralyze/cripple its opponent. It's possible I guess. At least it'd be something different.

could a captain risk using a bankai that could obliterate everything?

i remember metroid prime hunters on the ds, the best gun in the game was the omega cannon, and it basically killed anybody who got caught in its light. imagine a captain's bankai like that - it could kill everybody who's outside the barrier too :/

it would be a perfectly valid excuse not to use a bankai - is it worth the losses?

Defence 100
Mobility 100
Kidou/Reiatsu 100
Wisdom 100
Stamina 80

Meh, I'd knock all of them, except maybe kidou, down 10 or 20 and raise wisdom to like 150, if that were possible.

He has the best defense, so that can't be less than 100. He's fast enough even Aizen didn't spot the switch. Plus he trained & was able to keep up with Yoruichi. So speed 100.

Blood bending's one of those things that should've never been introduced to Avatar in the first place -- at least not without first coming up with a better excuse to prohibit it's use indefinitely. Because the excuse the story writers used was weak. lol

It's frustrating watching battles go down in a series knowing the only reason why the good guys won't ever press the insta-win button is for the sole sake of suspense.

Having stated that, if Urahara could blood bending, I'm tempted to say he'd be even more 1337 than Aizen and the hougyoku combined.

as for giving urahara that ability, why not? just one more hax in the bucket. i doubt it would break bleach any more than the other hax already in.

So how strong is Urahara really? He did use the most impressive mastery of multiple kidou combinations to date, imo. Plus fast enough that even Aizen didn't spot the switch. He has the best defense as well, & the smartest.

real blood bending is like magneto did in x men 2 (though iron in the blood helped). i can imagine the result to look similar, though.
