So in exchange of completely mixing up the series they earn more from customers, so it seems. I've dropped reading the series a year ago already so I accepted it already, the original author's not ranting as well so I'm fine with it.

26 episodes huh? I always tend to speculate that it's going to flow like this:

after the birthday arc, which is probably going to end in ep 13...

Spoiler for future events:

The plot progression is too fast (well, not if excluding all the minor filler stuff). It's a low chance that they would not include fillers and focus on the serious parts. That's not like season 1 which has more minor non-serious stuff than the latter.

ture but still...

13 episodes for the hot springs arc seems a bit too much if it was only like 18-20 chapters in the manga

so they'd probably be able to cover it all in 8 episodes, well that and plus some fillers...

but from the dvd patterns, is it really 26 eps, or could they just add in more dvds later on

who am I kidding, 26 episodes but it'd be a shame if they didn't focus on the other characters too (i.e: Chiharu and Aika, their introduction in season 1 seemed pointless if energy sp wasn't going to focus on their main plots, then again, maid chiharu appeared in the final ep of season 1 through some cameo...there might be some hope in season 2)

Well I think it's better for them if they keep the same pace as the 1st season. Not that serious and funny, a little serious in some parts but followed by something funny, then reset. Just until the later parts in the story where they have no choice but make it serious.

What the hell are you whining about?

They're doing a 1:1 manga conversion, so any plot progression speed is determined by the manga(ka), not by J.C.Staff.

Then I stand corrected, sorry for whining. Honestly I think it's still a long way to go and wonder if they're going to keep the pace from season 1 or speed it up.

The people complaining about the lack of humorous filler should keep in mind that Synergy SP had already taken most of that content, leaving JC Staff with mostly plot relevant chapters.

That the word "filler" is added after "humorous" is something that comes across as a bit unfair towards comedy.

Well I'm really pleased with the second season so far. It would have been fantastic to get an entire year of it, but I'm happy with 26 episodes if it continues to be as entertaining as it is right now.

I did a shitty babel fish translation and from what I can gather:

-episode 14: The debut of Isumi's family: Hatsuho Saginomiya, her mother and of course, her insane great grandmother, Ginka.

-episodes 15 to 16: Star of the Izu Hot springs arc

Hmm, so they'll be skipping the next 9 chapters, although most of them were already done in the first season.

The hot springs stuff goes from 109 to 124 ish, so that'd bring the series to episode, what, 18 or maybe even 20?

Hm. They're not really going to get all that far as I had originally imagined... that's kind of a shame. I'm guessing the season will end at the end of volume 14 (at best).
