This is an original movie project from Toei animation and Nitroplus

Director: Seiji Mizushima (FMA, gundam 00, UN-GO)
Screenplay: Gen Urobuchi (Madoka Magica, Fate Zero)
Chara design: Masatsugu Saito

So there's a doujin artist as a character designer and the website mentions Masaki Apsy.Something tells me Toei is expecting to sell lots of figures from this movie

Nothing about the plot,but looks like there's aliens.That girl looks hot but this is Urobuchi,for all we know it could just be the human form of an alien monster,afterall Saya looked cute at first and we all know how that turned out...

That artwork reminds me of Ifinite Stratos. I hope it won't turn out to be harem anime which I really hate it. But as long as it is Urobuchi's work, I can still waiting for it.

I've been interested ever since it was first announced back in March, I love the character design and background in the visual.

seem like Urobuchi despair fest again... after F/Z i think i will have Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder if i watch anymore of his anime (except for Madoka)

Toei then Gen combine?

The first thing I thought when I saw the girl was planetarian. Then I saw Gen then the studio Toei. I don't know what to expect but alien good looking girl created by Gen always end in post apocalyptic end of the world theme.

As long as she keeps her human form during the intimate scenes (if any), I will have no problem....

More bishojo action fighty girls possibly? If this is becoming the next big trend (which it looks like it is with the likes of Saber, Kuroyukihime, Asuna Yuuki and Yui "action roll" Takemura, and the cast of Horizon gracing our presence in this season alone) then I'm one hundred percent fully behind it. If the men of anime are learning to communicate with their fists again instead of being useless duds then the women might as well get the same opportunity.
