Gilgamesh, Saber, Female Protagonist of Extra and Kirei are shipped with absolutely everyone (specially the last two).

Not so much of a pairing (金凛 ship only has 5 pages or so of fanart in pixiv, still not bad at all). Generally speaking, Rin fans toss Gilgamesh and Kirei as her parents because they don't like Tokiomi. She usually features as adopted daughter of the current most popular Fate pairing in fanart (that is YUETSU). Like this as dysfunctional family unit:

Gilgamesh also has a soft spot for children in Fate/Hollow Ataraxia.

They meant the novels. It was during the Excaliblast scene, Saber reminded him of Enkidu. The blurays aren't out yet. Let's hope they add that.

I'm pretty sure the Enkdu we're going to see in the anime isn't going to be a trap.

What gives you that certainty? The anime used a Fate/Apocrypha design for Jeanne, so it's not a stretch at all that they'd also use a Fate/Strange Fake one for Enkidu.

I couldn't care less about Enkidu's design as long they include him. It can be a shadowed image that Gilgamesh is holding and I'll be still happy he's there.

It began as a short fanfic, then got a one shot light novel published for April's Fool. Watch them milk this more after Apocrypha and CCC are done.

Yuri version. It comes in all flavors. Of course Saber and Shirou are the het one. TYPE-Moon sure likes this scene for all the ~bonded forever~ Masters/Servants.
