Also, why do people keep calling this a BL series? I haven't read the manga, but lately every time they announce a show with a handsome lead male character, everyone is quick to slap a BL label on it and shun it. :\

Well yeah, but it still doesn't make it a BL series just because some people have a more active imagination than others

There are alot of series with hot male leads that arent BL at all but let fangirls imaginations run wild. (Hitman Reborn much?) Trust me Ive seen slash for this but again its left to our imaginations, the series itself, as stated isnt BL.

Has the cast been confirmed anywhere? I can only find the cast for the drama CD, and it clearly isn't the same. If I had to rely on my seiyuu knowledge, I'd definitely say Ono-D is Sebastian, and Maaya Sakamoto voices Ciel, but I'd rather not be too sure.

Im with you on Maaya Sakamoto cuz when Ciel first spoke my first reaction was "Its Haruhi!". Ono Daisuke as Sebastian is probably close, Im hoping its him.

No english sites have a cast list yet, dunno about others since I cant read them

Well katapan was right! The seiyuu's for Sebastian and Ciel have been released and they are Ono Daisuke and Sakamoto Maaya. Rest of the cast will be annoc later.

Has the author given an official spelling of all the characters' names? The additional cast has just been announced on the official website, but I'm afraid I'll get some names wrong if I just try to throw wild guesses. (Edit: I found the names spelled similarly on a few websites, no clue if they are indeed official, but I'll go with these for now.)

Grell ： Jun Fukuyama

There are quite some names here. Along with a relatively unexperienced seiyuu, Yuuki Kaji, whose most important role to date has been Over Drive's Mikoto Shinozaki - but he'll also voice the male lead in Yozakura Quartet this fall, which could mean his career is now set in motion. Also, Shunji Fujimura seems to be an actor who has yet to do any voice work for anime.

FukuJun as Grell is gonna be weird...psycho Lelouch voice maybe?? Paku Romi can do no wrong in my book and Suwabe Junichi voice is another fav of mine but I agree alot of the cast Id never heard of. But I like the choices I did know.

BL refers to Boys Love, the initials are used much like just H to to say Hentai.

I can not wait for this show it looks really awesome ^-^

BL is the abbreviation for Boys Love. Boys Love is the Japanese name for what some Western fans call "shounen ai".

BL=Boy's Love a.k.a YAOI But I think the series does not really give out the vibes that bad (for the normal fans but of course ) and the hints (I repeat, only hints... For now) aren't that obvious if you just follow the scenes normally.

That said, am I the only one who thinks Sebastian is like a child-molester in the anime?
