This is indicative of underpowered hardware for what you are trying to watch. It's possible to squeeze more out of your hardware by using more efficient software to view your files. You may want to avoid videos coded in H.264 and stick to XviD instead. Also, avoid high-resolution videos; anything much over 640x480 may be too much for your system. If you want more information, just ask, and post your computer's hardware information (processor type and speed, RAM, graphics card).

Just to add my 2 cents and to help: Ive tried using the cccp codec pack and it wouldnt play anything so I use
http://www.download.com/Cole2k-Media...ml?tag=lst-0-4 and has played EVERYTHING ive thrown at it. |
