While I would think it good to focus of the novel projects in order...the KyoAni approach seems to be in play and the various writers will pump back and forth between novels.

Though it might be best to focus on the selection of the novels that have been animated to date and then move on to the remaining novels. Partly to avoid spoiler-isms for those that have not read the original novels (I've only read through novel 7 myself, but I have never cared about spoilers for myself). Also using the animated sections gives the artists working material it seems.

Hare Hare for Kyonko should use the Nagato version to give "proper" voice to the character. (though a version of Kyon's with that voice might be amusing). Having Kyonko sound like Haruhi doesn't fit for some reason (though I suppose Aya could do it). There is probably a better character for her to voice, though there are fewer males to turn into females in this story.

Kyonko hasn't broken my Rena complex yet. Nor my old school Matsumoto female heronine complex (Yuki Mori, Emeraldas, Kai Yuki...Maetel.)
