Hmm... In the order of most likely to least, I would say:

Reason he can pilot IS or his relation with Chifuyu (likely something dark)
Something happened to Chifuyu and/ or his harem (unless we have some kind of traps here, with Ichika and Honne wearing formal clothes, Ichika looks shocked then cries while Honne is smiling)
His parents (he never gave a shit a two about them anyway)

Well there might be other reason why he is crying there... I mean maybe he learned that his harem and sister were faceing danger but they did not tell him anything about it and just left him behind which made him angry and sad at the same time since it kinda made it look like he is a burden to them.

Other options are that he wanted to talk about Maroka with Chifuyu but she again dropped him down on that subject which made him angry... but he got some comfort with honne who maybe callem him down (like sister does that to protect him)

But it still might be based on relations between ichika and chifuyu like he found out that they are not really blood releated and it makes him suffer thinking so they are not a real family or something (and she was lieing to him about parents) so honne might just calm him down like blood relation doesnt matter.... and it might turn out that in reality Chifuyu and Madoka are sisters while ichika is just an outsider that had been picked up by chifuyu and raised by her.

aaah hard to tell if no one can give a small summary from those parts (and what is the deal with madoka)

Izuru still has too much harem fluff but finally something is moving in the LN. so hopefully something with real meat in the story takes off.

Also, I hope that means it's gotten enough traction again so that anybody who dropped the translations before will change their minds and get back to it...oh who am I kidding....

I always knew tabane has at least 1 rat in the academy, now i figure at some point ichika & his fan club gonna realize they can't trust anyone at the academy(mostly the higher ranks) anymore, plus chifuyu & tabane too!

Well ever since baka tsuki didn't post vol 9, we have little to no clue on what happen in it, & since we have little to no clue on what happen in vol 10, we might as we move on

We know a good deal of what happened in Volume 9 actually - a race day and s bunch of harem shenanigans. Virtually no plot happened whatsoever.
As to Volume 10, Justpassingby said that they'd post the rest of the synopsis when they have the time/drive to do so - not everybody has a wealth of free time after all.

Well people are not asking to give them full translation of the whole volume... but simply in few lines say what was happening (regarding those pictures like white knight, madoka, onsen with maya and chifutu and ichika crying the reason behind it)

I thought it looks like she was just reassuring Ichika that it's okay to cry knowing that everyone has limits of how much emotional pain they can hold on despite being a person they expected so much or so little but it's still human(I think)
