So like... I'd like to know what's new on this "Remake"... I read the manga and watched the old anime, but can't remember the differences anymore lol

Better animation, stricter adaptation of the manga material without straying, and a whole lot more of HxH fans.

Now for my own question: Anyone knows who was/were the episode director(s) in 22 and 23? Both episodes were very very good from all aspect of overall animation which resulted in a very smooth pacing of the story-line covered.

I just love how nonchalant Hisoka was at the end of this episode. Such a boss.

I think the implication is that "new volumes" are to get people excited for new chapters, which should come soon since the movie's probably done.

Damn, Hisoka is a cold son-of-a-bitch. What a boss. But Chrollo is ice, too. What a couple of badass mofos they are.

It was nice seeing those 4 together again.
Kurapika sure is risking a lot for his revenge.
The others didn't agree with his method much.
That fortune telling by Phantom Troupe's boss was interesting.

Today's episode probably removes any questions regarding why Chrollo took steps to make sure Neon didn't die.

You've seen the glory that is Danchou vs Hisoka. Congratulations.

Oh Hisoka, changing his fate as he pleases.

The universe just bends around him.

Just remember his nen ability. As far as I remember, he only told Machi about it, back in the tourney arc. I don't think Machi have seized the VAST possibilities of it, especially in the hands of someone as imaginative as Hisoka.

Or maybe wouldn't suspect that he'd alter it in a way that still incriminates him.

Nah, I'll stick with Hisoka having universe warping powers.

I don't think she knows how much he can do with it either. She probably thinks he can do textures, but not actually write with it.

That's the bit I didn't quite get but I'm guessing Hisoka's reason for doing it will be delicious to watch

This is why Hisoka is one of the scariest characters despite the fact that his abilities are amongst the most basic for his class.

And yes, the fact that it still incriminates him is the reason why no one will notice the changes.

By the way, just a random question: Is it ok to talk about Chrollo's ability now? I don't think the story itself will focus any more on it.

"Red-eyed customer" doesn't have to mean the customer literally had scarlet eyes (i.e. Kurapika), and reading the "sword of law" immediately reminds me of Nobunaga. Is Hisoka trying to incriminate Nobunaga as well?

Red-eyed customer is clearly a metaphor for Kurapica though. Especially since being a customer at Hisoka's shop is an obvious metaphor for the two being in cahoots.

Indeed, I could hardly think of a more apt - and poetical - description for Kurapika than "half-angel, half-shinigami".

Any hint of romance between Machi & Hisoka or she just another play thing, he likes to tease (like Gon)?
