I'm really going to miss his commentary.

Not to mention Kevin McHale since he'll be coaching Houston.

And it's 2-2. Dallas rally in the 4th yet again.

And wouldn't you know it, Nowitzki had a lot of allies. While Wade and Bosh were the only people doing it for Miami. James had a nightmare tonight.

Wade and Bosh did their part. I don't know WTF LeBron is doing but really needs to get on track come Thursday night.

Woah, damn LeBron, everyone is going to be on your ass for this one. And Miami need to stop getting complacent and allowing Dallas to have these runs. 21-9 run in the final 10 minutes. That's the third game in row.

NBA needs to do something about this flopping issue like they said they were going to do.

Quote:
KISSIMMEE, Fla. (AP) — The NBA will begin fining players guilty of flopping beginning next season. Although the exact amount of fines has not been determined, the clubs have been informed that a new rule is on the way.

"We have not finalized what the system's going to be and certainly we will before the beginning of next season," NBA vice president of basketball operations Stu Jackson said Friday.

In-game observers at the arenas and video reviewers will report theatrical flops as part of postgame reports, according to ESPN.com, which first reported the plan to penalize floppers.

"Our objective is to get the most egregious flops, the ones where the player's just flat taking a dive," Jackson said.

Whether suspensions could be a part of the punishments is not clear. The league has an escalating scale of punishments for technical fouls and could use something similar for flops.

Players who flop in international basketball get a technical foul.

Well, in the end, karma probably got James back. He flopped early then failed for the rest of the game.

Stuff like that is why I prefer Wade over James any day.

Wade is a more notorious flopper than James is (in fact James isn't generally known as a perennial flopper), but at the same time, pretty much everyone flops throughout their careers. They pretty much coached to do it when it comes to taking charges. As a ref, when watching things in regular time, it's pretty hard to always catch what's a foul and what's not, and players take advantage of this.

It just more works more often for the superstars. I'm glad the NBA is looking into penalizing it.

The most well known is Manu Ganobilli by a long shot.

If the Heat don't win the championship, they can at least win the Oscars.

If there's any divine justice, then their floppings will lead to honest refs being twice as dubious with them before calling any fouls.

Then again, honest refs. Who am I kidding?

Hey, at least this isn't a sport where two teams get 90% of their games at home.

Oh please....

For every time they flop, they're legitimately hacked five more times when they go to the hoop.

Lol, Dallas has gotten more calls than Miami.

Personal Fouls:

Game 1 (Miami wins):
Dallas - 22; Miami - 21

Game 2 (Dallas wins):
Dallas - 20; Miami - 17

Game 3 (Miami wins):
Dallas - 14; Miami - 27

Game 4 (Dallas wins):
Dallas - 18; Miami - 23

Total:
Dallas - 74; Miami - 88
Free Throw Attempts:
Dallas -110; Miami - 89
Free Throw Attempts per Game:
Dallas - 27.5; Miami - 22.5

Dallas may not be caught flopping outright on Youtube, but they are getting more ticky-tack calls.

Edit: Even more-so when you consider the fact that Dallas is a jump shooting team not known for a lot of interior scoring. How in the Hell did they get two games of 30+ foul shots?

Rashard Lewis Slept With LeBron's Girlfriend?

Looks like Lebron James lackluster performance in this year’s NBA playoffs is related to yet another off the court drama. Word on the street is that Rashard Lewis slept with Lebron’s girl Savannah while he was visiting South Beach.

Here’s what I found out :

I have a very reliable source who clubs and drinks with all of the athletes that come through Orlando. He was all over the Tiger Woods issue and knew what all happened with Tiger prior to it being released publicly. My buddy has a place in Orlando, Lake Nona to be exact, and he lives among some athletes that live there in Orlando. Needless to say he golfs, drinks, and parties with some of the best people in central Florida. So when word got to him while at the bar last night, he called me. Word got out while drinking with friends, that Rashard Lewis slept with Lebrons girl while visiting South Beach.

ESPN’s analyst Stephen A. Smith recently said on his radio show that Bron Bron is going through personal off court issues and that’s the reason for his poor play on the final.

not sure if this is legit or not but...:

Damn, LeBron has serious woman troubles, first the rumor that Delonte West was sleeping with his mom of all people and now this.

Daaayyyuuuummm, homie. It's just a rumor, but it needs to find a better time to pop up than the Finals.
