Indeed

The Internet was so rilled up when the U.S accused China of hacking earlier this year. America accused China all kind of funny stuff, including the evil of "Huawei" Then they got "snowed in" and the table is now turned.

So the only justification left for the U.S moral superiority is NSA must be doing the spying for your own good.

Do I believe China or Russia has a clean hand in the hacking world? Absolutely not. Do I believe America got caught again doing something immoral that it harangue China for? Absolutely.

Japan manufacturers turn optimistic

Tokyo (July 1, Mon): Big Japanese manufacturers turned optimistic for the first time since September 2011, indicating confidence in Prime Minister Shinzo Abe's reflationary policies even after stock market volatility.

The quarterly Tankan index for large manufacturers rose to +4 last month from -8 in March, the Bank of Japan said in Tokyo today. A positive figure means optimists outnumber pessimists.

The median estimate of 22 economists surveyed by Bloomberg News was for a +3 reading. Large companies from all industries plan to increase capital spending 5.5 per cent in the year through March next year.

Japan's gross domestic product grew an annualised 4.1 per cent in the first quarter and is forecast to expand until the second quarter of next year when a planned sales tax increase may cause an economic contraction.

Confidence may be helped by the government's growth strategy, a plan for tax cuts on fixed investment, the continued impact of fiscal stimulus and a rush in demand ahead of the planned rise in consumption tax, according to Mr Yasunari Ueno, chief market economist at Mizuho Securities in Tokyo.

"The economy has clearly entered a period of moderate recovery," Mr Ueno wrote in a June 21 report. "In addition to the indices of industrial production and exports, consumer spending has increased because of expectations for Abenomics."

Even so, some firms may be holding back on spending because of concerns over stock and bond market volatility, and higher fuel costs stemming from the weaker currency and the closure of nuclear power stations, he wrote.

And that would make some good competition on the market too. Some of the electronics stuff that I own was made in Japan and it's still working very well after all those years. So I expect longevity and quality to go with products made in Japan, even if it's in mass production.

Neil Gaiman returns to Vertigo with new 'Sandman'

Philadelphia (July 2, Tue): The Sandman is returning to Vertigo comics under the influence of writer Neil Gaiman.

Shelly Bond, executive editor of the imprint of DC Entertainment, said that Gaiman is working with artist J.H. Williams III to tell stories of Morpheus' world before he was captured. Titled The Sandman: Overture, the new series will appear bi-monthly from Oct 30 in comic shops and digitally.

Gaiman last penned stories in the realm of the Endless more than a decade ago. His telling of Sandman has sold more than seven million copies in nine languages by combining epic story with mythology in a comic medium.

DC Entertainment president Diane Nelson called the return to the "lush, evocative world" Gaiman created with Sandman "a literary event".

According to WikiLeaks, Snowden also applied for Dutch asylum (among others).

I think he'd be better off not coming here, as I'm sure he'd be sent back to the US as soon as he set foot on Dutch soil, since the government wants to be such good friends with the US and comply with anything they ask, despite knowing they've been spying on us.
