Oh, this is really good news.

While I am not really too big of a fan of TtT, the utawaremono project was announced side by side as this and seeing this get released might imply UtaII is still alive and kicking.

this should be quite interesting XD, i do hope they keep the game-play style of the first VN though, it was awfully fun and novel for a VN

They really need something of a better storyline and art team. The TT's girls all look if they were covered in baby fat. I don't need a ultra-slim girl, but half of the cast look like if they were covered in ice cream balls.

Are you talking about the original 2005 version or the later remakes that came out after the anime? The art was considerably better in the latter.

I am more hoping for a better battle system

Am not sure, I download it somewhere that was English translated. It is not the art work was badly drawn, but the style for the character looked very chubby and goofy, which made the H scene (and non H scenes) completely silly.

That would be the original version made in 2005. The art in the remake on the ps3 and psp has imo strongly improved. (looking more like the anime)

Found an article with a comparsion

Wow, some of them really looks better, especially Octivia and all the elves.

Did they also improve the Merc troops you can hire as well? In the 2005 version there was little reason to hire Merc troops unless you want mass a specific class. Due to you can only deploy 8 people, it was pretty much always beneficial to use the mains rather than the generics.

GoT is not serious...

What happened to Utawareumono 2 ?

Doing a second one would be pretty hard. Especially the way it ended in first game.

An earlier article on Famitsu (like two-three weeks ago) mentioned that the use of SD models during battles was a stylistic choice.

I preordered the game a while ago, kind of curious how the story will unfold, though from the looks of it the nods to the original game (PS3) that were supposed to happen were likely scrapped.

So not a single reoccurring character from the last one? Why do i get a shining vibe from the preview?

I wonder what they mean with "more serious" story. Kakan no Daichi's story was mostly serious (Avalon no Nazo was kind of schizoid, but in the end the whole game was bad, IMO).

It appears so. But I'll wait for the game to be sure.

Tears to Tiara II Features A Fallen Prince And A Goddess

Quote:
Hamil is a kind boy and the last remaining member of Hispania’s royal family. Seven years earlier, his parents were executed for planning a rebellion against the empire. Since then, he has worked in a rural town under the scrutiny of imperial guards. He pretends to be weak, but he is actually calm, cunning, and determined to fulfill his father’s dying wish to win Hispania’s independence and defeat the empire.

Quote:
A goddess who has been worshipped since ancient times and is responsible for abundant harvests and war. She has a kind, frank, and sometimes arrogant personality. As a longtime friend of Hispania’s royal family, she appears before Hamil in response to his desire to defeat the empire. Since she comes from another world, she knows little about the human world and is naturally curious.
