That was really it. Orb wasn't really at fault. Had they surrendered, Blue Cosmos would have taken it over and killed all the coordinators, which included Shinn and his family.

I agree with this. He's family was just unfortunate.

If Kira and Cagalli are 16 in 2002 (start of SEED) and 18 in 2004 (start of Destiny), then I guess they turn 26 this year.

Well, Cagalli is a head of state, so I'm sure her birthday party would be a big celebration. Kira's party would probably be more private.

That would require animating whole new scenes. I don't think they'll go that far with the HD re-releases. I think it was only made for the little break video.

Watching some of the episodes of the remastered version and I must say, some of the scenes look pretty horrendous in comparison to the original, especially the faces of some of the characters.

I kind of wish they didn't remaster it, and instead gave me my movie that I waited 7 years for...

Nice episode, and people who think that Cagalli was "reduced to a crybaby" in Destiny probably don't understand her attachment to Orb. As this and other episodes point out, Cagalli really does get emotional when it comes to her country. And while she may act brave and rash when facing EA or ZAFT forces, it's a different thing altogether when facing her fellow countrymen.

Yeah, that's something I've been complaining since early remastered episodes. I'm glad I'm not alone. I think the one who receives the greatest blow of this "deformed face" is Kira even though he's the main character

Yeah, I feel bad for anyone still waiting for that movie. Strange that the ending of GSD showed Cagalli without the ring but later the creator apologized and said that he was intent was for Athrun and Cagalli to eventually mend bridges and get back together and that he was sorry for the confusion.

Just a question, isn't Perfect strike Gundam basically the same as Destiny Gundam? Both have the main features of their boosters.

So, before my computer decided to fuck me over, and die, I was unable to continue watching the HD releases. I was at ep 11 when it crashed, and getting very into it (rare for me with SEED). But then I remembered I have the first 25 eps on DVD, bought it back in 2008 on a whim, needed a quick Gundam fix. I watched an episode last night, man....I got really spoiled from those HD episodes.

It was like I was watching two different shows.
