Alright I watched the first episode without subs (I don't understand enough Japanese to enjoy the show but I already read the first two books) and I like the voice she uses for Taiga, up until she starts saying "Urusai" and "Yuji" (I don't care what she's supposed to be saying, she says it!). I liked her in that role but it really took me out of the experience. As for Ryuuji, they're handling it very similar to what KyoAni did with Haruhi which is what I expected, it'd be hard to relate to him if we didn't know what he was thinking given his deceptive appearance.

It was a solid effort with only some small cuts and changes, I enjoyed it quite a bit and will be adding this to my queue of shows to watch this season.

Taiga is voiced by the tsundere godess Saiyuu Rie Kugimiya who did Negi(Hayate no Gotoku), Shana (Shakugan no Shana) and louise(Zero no Tsukaima) .
I knew it was her as soon as she said her first word.

That subsides fairly quickly actually. (The dog-calling part) Unless JC Staff decides to continue it just so Rie can shout "baka inu!" for an entire season in yet another show ;p

I am following the Manga, but going by the ending, it seems it is going to become a 5 way love competition. In the manga the girl with the black hair in the ending has not yet been introduced. It seems that one girl will be left out

. I just can't get tired of watching the three girls walking together, it is hypnotic!

just watched the 1st episode, not bad, although the drawing was very big different with the novel and manga, but still not too bad

I think that's a question nobody would be able to answer at the moment, since, well, there are no subs available as of yet, only the raws. Most people here are commenting based on that, so yeah... it's probably better to wait until somebody actually subs the show.

Just scanned the Random Curiosity review of ep 1 --- thinking I'm going to enjoy this little series. Looks like a bit of rowdy fun.

Yes i agree, i was pretty suprised how well it turned out. The only thing bothering me is i still have to get used to anime-Taiga since her moeness is kinda different from the manga but i guess within 2 or 3 episodes this feeling will be gone
