Just finished the raw, don't expect any OP/ED to get uploaded since this episode had none, though they did play the OP theme from 21:30 to 24:00. Animation was nice, designs were good and a lot of dialogue (though easy to get the gist of what's happening) so I'm going to have to wait for the subs for a proper judgment.

I expect 9:45-9:46 to get turned into a gif asap lol.

I'm still downloading the episode 01 raw. Aside from that why was vocaloid bad? I played the game and like the songs there so the op of irony_claris is really good for me.

Saw the 1080p raw from EF and I have to say that this turned out pretty good. Surprising to hear Azusa's voice again in a different role was enjoyable. But, wow, Kirino is awesome...

Overally, very fun to watch. I hope the subs come out soon. Kirino is pretty cute in her tsundere-like personality.

Looks like I found my 3rd anime to watch this fall in addition to the ongoing Amagami series.

Ep1 worked for me. The drawing/animation of Kirino is superb. I'm not totally sold on Taketatsu, but she was okay. Better than with the similar voice of Mio in MM. Nakamura Yuuichi was outstanding, though, I thought.

I can't see this not becoming a hit, considering the story and the animation. 2channel is very busy on the topic, having burned through 1500 posts in less than three hours. Lots of criticism of Taketatsu, and lots of criticism of the critics, too.

Anyways, the setting itself is great, I guess. The setting made the episode fairly entertaining.

The characters... not so much. I remember people saying Kirino was likeable or there isn't any reason she would get flamed... REALLY?! You'd be more of a masochist than Tarou to like her. Slapping you to wake you up? Making you play an eroge at 3AM? Really? I love otaku stuff too, but the point is not to bother others with your hobby. That is the line you shouldn't cross. Like how it is fine to imagine child anime porn, but if you try to do something based off of it, it is OUT.
And in regards to the title... What...? Only the very beginning of the episode had anything to do with the title. So by what regard could she not be as cute? I thought she was normal and cute but she was an otaku so she is not as cute as I thought?
The brother was probably the better character, but maybe too much of a nice guy... I mean, at least make an remark over the fact she's in MIDDLE SCHOOL, but playing an 18+ game. At least make an remark over the fact she is too young to be playing such games. And kick her a little for forcibly waking you up.

And also, she likes Sister stuff...
So why SchoolDays? Why SummerDays? Only 1/100 of the game has a sister interacting with her brother. Heck, there isn't even a route! If that was enough to buy the game, then she should have more games than what was shown, no doubt.
By the way, the only thing that has sisters calling their brother by so many titles is Sister Princess...

The amount of eroge companies in the credit...

Anyways, all in all, it was more entertaining than I expected. Mainly thanks to the setting.
Taketetsu's voice at least fits more here, but yeah... You get good voice actors, you get bou voice actors, and then you get bad voice actors. You can at least make fun of bou voice actors, but bad voice actors.......................

This is one innocent sister that would be ideal. I doubt IRL a girl like her has not jerked off to any of these games nor I think that Kirino would be able to get these games IRL since the 18 over sign is there. She does not look at all that age and in fact she is 14 years old despite her appearance of being the cutest next to Mio from MM this season.

I do like Kyousuke's character most likely because his Seiyuu: http://myanimelist.net/people/513/Yuuichi_Nakamura played Alto in Macross Frontier, Tomoya in Clannad and Akira in Vampire Bund.....liked those characters. Of course Ryuu from Kimi ni Todoke and Ice Man Hotty from Basquash were good too. On a funny note Kiriko's Seiyuu plays also Mio from MM this season. Furthermore she played Ako in Kiss x Sis and of all things Azusa from K-ON. Mayoi Neko overrun's Nozomi with HOTD's Alice is a + so it will be fun to see how things play out from these Seiyuu's. Now comments on parts of the episode.....first thing to notice is the slippers that Kirino wears....now that is a cute aspect in itself=>

is dangerous for a guy like me should it get out of my sexual control. Kyousuke had problems in dealing with this and Kirino forced him to play this even if did not care about it much.

Finally a nice end pic to finish this episode.....liked the uniqueness of it=>

What is interesting is that Kirino tends to really do differ fantasy from reality. Kyousuke proved that but problem is IRL not all people have a mentality like her....eventually they succumb to their fantasy. Also her future boyfriend might not approve any of this nor someone that were to marry her. That being said good series start, major MOE overdose and of course the comedy is there. 9/10 for me.

EP 1--
Thought the pacing was slow and deliberate. If I wasn't a fan of the light novel I probably wouldn't have finished it in one go. The fake eroge company Alice+ is probably a portmanteau of Nitro+ and Alicesoft, which is odd since I can't remember either being big in imouto games or even themes.

Summer Days is a "what if" story that takes place before School Days. Cross Days is an alternate telling of roughly the same period School Days takes place in, but from a different character's perspective.

I'm really glad that they included so many actual eroge in her stash, including many I've played or partially played already.

What I noticed: School Days, Summer Days, Cross Days, Meguri Megureba Meguru Toki!?, Akaneiro ni Somaru Saka, C.D.II, Sugar+Spice2, ChuxChu Idol2, Kiss to Maou to Darjeeling, Sakura Sakura, Flyable Heart, Shuumatsu Shoujo Gensou Alicematic, Amatsu Misora ni, Natsuzora Kanata
Some that have similar covers/names maybe be based on: Touka Getten, Stellar Theater, Wanko to Kurasou, RPG Gakuen, Saishuu Heiki Kanojo, Gurren Lagann, Moe-tan, Zettai Imouto Shijou Shugi!, Kamipani!

Ahhhhhhhhh it was a good adaptation of the first ep (covering first two chapters in v1). Some things were cut out, which leads me to believe they'll stop at v4c3. Too bad they didn't show Kirino's reaction to seeing Shiori-chan crying after Kyousuke kicked her off.

In overall I'm pleased with the first episode. The very first scene was actually a very ingenius way to introduce the series title

. Nice to see that they followed the novel very closely on this episode.
Lol first thing I noticed from her collection was Cross Days, is there an imouto on that game? Akane Iro is definitely a must have for her lol.
However she has many other games and animes, this made her look more otaku than in the novel haha (well maybe not since she is already a big otaku).
I'm happy to see this story finally animated.

Kirino has just jumped to my "Must Have As Waifu" list. It is kind of incredibly funny that she is a fujoshi tsundere imouto and has a rather "I don't really care" brother who actually cares about her (anyone remember a certain female character from Hatsukoi Limited?).

The author certainly knows how to create a dislike in the father - a typical government dog who barks and bites for all the wrong reasons.

Nice watch. Still waiting for subs.

P.S It seems that this is Ayanyan's second closet-pervert-ultra-cute-tsundere-loli role. But the touch doesn't seem as well done as the first, maybe it might take some time to get used to.

Kyousuke had problems in dealing with this and Kirino forced him to play this even if did not care about it much. Finally a nice end pic to finish this episode.....liked the uniqueness of it=> What is interesting is that Kirino tends to really do differ fantasy from reality. Kyousuke proved that but problem is IRL not all people have a mentality like her....eventually they succumb to their fantasy. Also her future boyfriend might not approve any of this nor someone that were to marry her. That being said good series start, major MOE overdose and of course the comedy is there. 9/10 for me.

What I noticed: School Days, Summer Days, Cross Days, Meguri Megureba Meguru Toki!?, Akaneiro ni Somaru Saka, C.D.II, Sugar+Spice2, ChuxChu Idol2, Kiss to Maou to Darjeeling, Sakura Sakura, Flyable Heart, Shuumatsu Shoujo Gensou Alicematic, Amatsu Misora ni, Natsuzora Kanata Some that have similar covers/names maybe be based on: Touka Getten, Stellar Theater, Wanko to Kurasou, RPG Gakuen, Saishuu Heiki Kanojo, Gurren Lagann, Moe-tan, Zettai Imouto Shijou Shugi!, Kamipani! Ahhhhhhhhh it was a good adaptation of the first ep (covering first two chapters in v1). Some things were cut out, which leads me to believe they'll stop at v4c3. Too bad they didn't show Kirino's reaction to seeing Shiori-chan crying after Kyousuke kicked her off. __________________

type-R! Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2010	In overall I'm pleased with the first episode. The very first scene was actually a very ingenius way to introduce the series title . Nice to see that they followed the novel very closely on this episode. Lol first thing I noticed from her collection was Cross Days, is there an imouto on that game? Akane Iro is definitely a must have for her lol. However she has many other games and animes, this made her look more otaku than in the novel haha (well maybe not since she is already a big otaku). I'm happy to see this story finally animated.

It is kind of incredibly funny that she is a fujoshi tsundere imouto and has a rather "I don't really care" brother who actually cares about her (anyone remember a certain female character from Hatsukoi Limited?). The author certainly knows how to create a dislike in the father - a typical government dog who barks and bites for all the wrong reasons. Nice watch. Still waiting for subs. P.S It seems that this is Ayanyan's second closet-pervert-ultra-cute-tsundere-loli role.
