Bringing up Kihara made this episode overly exciting to me!
I agree to Mikoto in the preview, read the atmosphere damn it! Uiharu made me speechless... And what's up with Telestina's guessing right of her sweets? I thought Misaka overreacted a bit when Kuroko came into the bathroom. But then I changed my mind after I saw Kuroko "sleep" mode. I lol'd at Mikoto's outfit, Kegota mask made my day. Also I kinda feel bad for Kiyama. Ooooh yeah, RSPK aka the test to interpret the laws of berserk abilities indirectly refered to AIM Stalker aka Takitsubo Rikou.

Currently watching my first raw ever. Yes, I am drunk. Hopefully I can manage. Misaka's cute face wil hopefully save the night for me.
EDIT: Watched the raw, and, as expected, didn't understand a thing. Subbed episode made a bit more sense Plot advancement coupled with great comedy made this an excellent episode. The bath scene made me laugh out loud, with and without subs. Also, who doesn't fit in ? That outfit looks so random. Last edited by zarqu; 2010-03-06 at 12:51. |

Lots of talking and explanations... but, pretty interesting. Lots of stuff come together...
Kinda feel sorry for Kiyama... Just nothing goes well for her. A bit more of Uza-haru this episode too... Her actions kind of went from unreasonable to just plain childish... But more important, hahaha, power finally revealed. Yay, she's a walking human microwave. Lots of stupidness from the heroine, some lovely Ruiko moments, and Kuroko having a... extreme dream. Oh, and a bath scene... The water is too colored! Curses... Kihara... As always, I love these evil, cruel characters... *looks at profile avatar* Don't tell me that Telestina is going to bring those kids to Kihara or something, right...? Duh duh duh...

Uiharu found herself within Haruue, and the two girls become friends. Then Kuroko treats Haruue as causing Portergeist. It's natural for Uiharu to get angry. And one of the top secret has finally revealed. Uiharu's power! Next will be what is on her hair |

Natural yes, but sadly annoying.

I don't think there's an official name for it.
Heat up? Warmth? Walking Microwave? Thermal Conformation (only in the positive area) sounds good to me, personally. I guess it's as complicated as manipulating electrons in a specific way or something, but I'd rather assume she just does it. lol I would find that exact power interesting in higher Level forms though.

MAR finds the hospital Doc Frog runs for those Child Errors how suspicious.
Technically speaking Doc Frog is the second most powerful individual in Academy City's organization being the city's co-founder. But so far all we've seen is him do damage control all the crap this town's mad scientists does, that and patch up Touma for his escapades with the Magic side. Interestingly Kihara Sr. doesn't like Doc Frog. Undercover Mikoto here is cute but don't count on that come season 2. |

Spoiler for UNTZ* UNTZ* UNTZ* UNTZ*:
I've been laughing my ass off at Misaka's infiltration gear. She's a rich girl I'm pretty sure she could have at least have a better outfit than that one, but then again, she's got a thing for wacky childish stuff so I wouldn't bet on that. oh and Kuroko's dream... what the hell man? That was sort of out of place but expected of her, I guess I'm gonna give this an 8 since I didn't think it would go down to this path. And I thought Uiharu's power has some kind of connection with those flowers. I guess she's using her power to keep those alive?

Throughout the whole thing I've been wondering to myself... Are we talking about the same Kihara here ?
Anyway, I can't quite see what the endgame is. Telestina is obviously still hiding something, but we already know that Kiyama is, sort of, responsible for the incidents. But now with those Child Error under MARS, what else is there do we not know? As for Uiharu... Well, I wasn't expecting a gemstone of an ability but come on...

Well finally discover the secret of Uiharu's power. Behold the human thermos! Though I suppose it does have some practical uses. Won't need ice to keep her drinks cool ! Situationally useful, though I agree she probably hasn't told anyone since it'd be manipulated by others to the extreme. Just have Uiharu hold something for a while and they don't have to worry about it losing it's temperature.
Anyways somehow I can't see handing over the kids to Telestina as being anything but a terrible idea. Though I suppose no one has a serious reason to doubt her. They don't get the OP after all.
