I love the Snow Miku 2013 design. It's very pretty. I really need to get one sometime.

Got myself CuPoche Kirino. Sooo cute!

Eila from Strike Witches. Sega did a good job on this one, especially for 30 bucks.

Some Type Moon petits...

Managed to get Madoka Maiko version with cheaper price in one of the convention here.
But I like it better when I put Sayaka's head in the costume.

Looking at the picture, I pretty much agree that the yukata looks better on Sayaka than on Madoka.

God damn, the new Ryougi Shiki figure already sold out at AmiAmi. Hopefully it shows up on Amazon.jp, because there's no way I'm paying the higher rates elsewhere.

Good thing I'm satisfied with the GSC version, so I don't need to bother buying the new one.

Like someone mentioned, Koto's Shiki looks like an adult version of IdolMaster's Makoto with a katana

Thanks for the responses! Ok, so I only showed partial pictures of the actual base because, well, honestly, I completely f-ed up the base on what I originally wanted to do. The clear resin over flowed and got all over the sides of the base. And there was one session of clear resining that didn't cure properly or something and I got a bunch of bubbles and crap. Even cutting out that part and re-applying the resin didn't help.... So I left the project to sit for a few days while I cooled off.. because, yeah, pissed off at the damn thing and I was losing patience.

Today, I went and grabbed some scenic grass and went to work to fix my f-up. The overflowed sides were ground down to the wood with a dremel and a sanding bit. The wood frame was re-stained and finished. The bubbled areas I took a drill to in spots and glued in some grass. Looks sorta normal. Anyways, about as done as I can get. *sigh* I hate dealing with mistakes.

Question: I remember it being brought up before in this thread, but not sure what page. Those glass cases that people get, where do they get them? Preferably not the monstrous ones, but more reasonable ones in terms of price.

Depends where you live. The Ikea Detolf is by far the most popular, and is about $70 USD. Incredibly cheap for a glass cabinet. I'd have a dozen if I could get them.

That does look nice. And cheap, too. Thanks. I'll have to check IKEA on the way home from the client today to see if they have any.

Along with a Detolf cabinet (which I use for the figures I have downstairs), I also have two other cabinets in my bedroom that my mother found at a thrift store and thought I could use to store my figures.

Hence, I'd also suggest seeing if there's any second-hand stores near where you live and see if they have a display cabinet at a decent price.

Wow, if you do an image search for "Ikea Detolf," every single picture features anime figurines. You'd think there'd at least be one with porcelain dolls or something.

I think that's Google search optimization at work. I get a combination of official ikea.com images, images of it filled with model cars, anime figures, what appears to be army figures, transformers, a person's empty case from their blog, movie memorabilia, etc.
