It was just supposed to be a normal day for the test-run of the new weapon I’ve developed, the Forsium Magic Cannon. I was currently in an uninhabited planet not too far from the system our facility’s situated. So far, it’s been a few days since I’ve had any news from the outside.
“Hm?”
My private communication line was beeping. Tsk, looks like I’m in for a delay. Who would call at this hou- Hayate? … Well, what do you know? I smirked and opened the video screen. “Well hello there, Yagami-Butaichou.” Greeting her formally, I was expecting an annoyed response from my self-proclaimed niece. Instead, all I received was the first one of the many shocks that I would be experiencing today. She looked like she had been crying recently. She didn’t speak, just silently looking at me in as if in pain. I opened my mouth to speak again, but closed it in favor of a more private manner of communication. After briefly searching the galaxy for the heart of the girl shown in the video screen, I secured a telepathic link. I noted with some wry satisfaction that her eyes widened in surprise, followed by a light blush on her cheeks upon the telepathic connection.
‘What’s wrong, Hayate? Had a bad day at the office? Was it those damned bureaucrats again?’
‘……………………………………’
‘Oi. C’mon. You can’t expect me to spend the rest of the day trying to make you reply. Unlike you, I don’t have the magic capacity to sustain inter-planetary system telepathy for as long as I like.’ I don’t know what’s wrong, but I do hope my little joke about an almost nonexistent magic drain while using telepathy is helping right now.
‘Reinforce…’ She replied while lowering her eyes.
‘Huh? Something’s wrong with Small Boss? Come to think of it, I don’t see her with you. Was it-‘
‘No.’ She turned her eyes upward. ‘It’s Reinforce. The first one…’
‘...? What are you trying to say? Don’t tell me she’s suddenly been seen by someone.’
Damn. I’ll have to stop this small habit of concentrating too much on my devices while letting the rest of galaxy revolve without me. Reinforce, possibly alive and on the loose? And triple casting the Breaker moves?! This is really starting to be a weird day. And I just HAD to spoil her by carrying on most of the conversation telepathically, I'm sure I'd be the laughingstock of the tech facility if they saw me plainly staring at another person during long-range communication. But I guess it was worth it. She did seem to cheer up a bit after I knocked some sense into her head. Well, after crying a bit more at least. Sigh… Guess I’m not immune to the ‘Damsel in Distress’ act as I though I was. Well, with her looking so cute while depressed, her request was quite hard to put down. I ended up consoling her and giving some precautionary advice for about two and a half hours because of this. And now, my schedule for the day is effectively ruined. Chuckling self-depreciatively, I turned to my second device. “Almaria.”
[Yes, Aurion-san?]
“Wake me up after four hours. I’ll be taking a nap.”
[Understood…]
I yawned loudly. Bah, who cares about a small delay? I’d honestly rather do my duties as a self-proclaimed parent figure rather than working overtime on an experiment with no deadline. Besides, I don’t want Signum and Vita suddenly going after my head because I upset their Mistress. Heh, the memory of those two making me promise in such an absurd way like a solemn oath, it makes me want to laugh at myself. In front of Hayate, no less. Well, at least Hayate’s idea of enlisting a loyal subject was a bit more original. A hug? Quite bizarre. Though seeing the reactions of her Knights when it was done made it definitely better. After reminiscing a bit more about the past, I flopped down on my mattress and closed my eyes; dozing off a few moments later.
*BANG!*
Jolted out of my approximately one-minute nap, I hurried out of my little improvised bunker to check out the noise (but not before grabbing an alarmed Almaria along the way). Only to met by an onrushing swarm of magic spheres and spikes.
“Shit!” I raised my left arm, or to be more precise, Reishiki, now unveiled, in order to conjure up a double-layer round shield. The projectiles smacked into my shield with incredible force. But luckily, it seemed that my shield held somehow. Okay, whoever you are, it’s now MY turn.
[Standing by.] Reishiki pulsated with energy.
[Ready.] My Barrier Jacket materialized in a flash of light, with my Spell Gauntlet and Boots materializing afterwards, accompanied by crackling cobalt-colored energy.
“Ready, Almaria?”
[Yes, Chief.] She replied, now using her combat-phase speech pattern.
I slotted her in, completing the combination.
[Complete.] I felt Almaria fall into a rhythm of energy similar to mine, as well as taking control of the AI applications and voice now.
And not a moment too soon, as I was immediately assaulted by the magic projectiles once again. This time, however, I was ready.
[Proton Bolt]
Releasing a fixed amount of energy, I directed my dozen projectiles at the incoming ones when they were in range of my Manipulation Field; destroying two with a single unit each. Most of the targets were destroyed. And the four that I left to rush towards me were soon converted into my own when they reached within a few meters of my location. Meanwhile, the leftover magic particles from the previous attacks swirled around myself; ready to be recycled at my command. Hmm, strange. These projectiles look and feel like Axel Shooter and Plasma Lancer units.
Scanning my surroundings, I came across a robed figure a few dozen meters away. By the way it would seem; the figure’s a female. Instinctively, I reached out to communicate with ‘her’. After securing the link, I started my vehement interrogation. But the connection seems strange. ‘She’ feels different from humans.
‘Now what was the big idea attacking me like that?!’ I shouted telepathically. In response, all I received was another volley of even more powerful shots. Tsk, I guess I’m not too lucky with women after all. The next volley proved to be much more powerful than the second one; as I was able to confirm by shooting the four ‘captured’ shots at matching ones. They were destroyed easily and the opposing shots went straight for me. Possibly a power type? Hmm, let’s see what she can do. I called forth a single Stinger Blade in my right hand and sliced the offending bullets with a few quick strokes.
[Blaze Cannon]
After charging up the ball of energy, I fired it at the direction of the enemy mage.

................................... Okay. This particular opponent is NOT someone to be taken lightly. She was already behind me just as I fired off Blaze Cannon! Sonic Move? Reacting quickly, I willed the magic particles around me to form a quick bind around her. It was partially successful in pinning her left arm to her body, but it failed in stopping the fist that was heading straight for my face.
[Panzer Geist]
A cobalt barrier formed around me just as she was about to connect with her attack. It connected, but my barrier seems to be holdi-, oh crap. Breaking through my barrier just like that? I was somehow able to dodge the fist that was supposed to knock my head off. But it would seem like she's not stopping with a single punch. I was met with several Plasma Lancers behind my back just as I was pulling away.
“Plasma Smasher…”
Fighting like Fate this time, then? Very well. Gathering quite a lot of energy, I unleashed a tornado of Stinger Blades to counter the Plasma Lancers behind me; and matching her Plasma Smasher with my Blaze Cannon. When she attempted a punch once again, this time I didn't bother making a defense. I reach into one of my pockets for a certain card and held it on my right palm; raising it in front of my face, facing outwards. And just as her punch is about to hit my hand, "VKA 01, set up."
After about half a second, one of my optional Armed Devices, a sword, sprouted into form, the extending tip colliding perfectly with my assailant's knuckles, pushing her punch back. Whew. It worked somehow. I put some distance between the both of us. Now then, "Load Cartridge! Eirweiterung!" this prompted two cartridges to be shot out and allowed my sword to extend a bright energy blade. Grabbing the sword properly by my right, I arced Reishiki backward to draw upon the remaining energies from the clash of the Photon Lancers and the Stinger Blades, forming a single large and concentrated Saturation Blade. All the while forming binds around my opponent with the leftover energies from our earlier clash of energy beams. I used the two energy blades as makeshift pincers and attempted to strike her from both sides. My opponent, not to be outdone, broke the binds on her in record time and stretched out both arms to stop my two blades with magic shields. So she uses a white Belka symbol, eh? Could it be? Let’s see then.
Not losing my momentum, I released the Saturation Blade, controlling it mentally now, and plunged my left hand into another pocket to take out yet another card. “VKA 02, set up.” This time, my second optional device, a one-hand heavy energy rifle materialized immediately. “Load Cartridge. Magic Disruptor Shot!” After letting my device load two cartridges, I took aim and shot at my enemy. She attempted to create yet another shield in front of her, but my shot was made just for that. Not stopping, I now commanded, “Follow-through shot! Positron Bolt!” this time loading three cartridges, two beams of light met at the tip of my rifle and formed a sphere of energy; just in time for my earlier shot to hit her defense, dissolving it effectively.
“Attack!” I fired of the sphere of antimatter directly at the spot where the defense was earlier. A large flash of light followed. Did I do it?
… Hmm, maybe not. If I did, there wouldn’t be a hundred red crystal shards surrounding me now, would there?! But still…
[Maelstorm Field]
The energy surrounding me began warping and distorting rapidly, creating a closed field of powerful energy waves. Most of the daggers were dissolved before they even reached me. And I slashed with my sword and shot with my gun on the several others which weren’t destroyed. Heh. As long as this person does not possess infinite power with an unrestricted output, I should be able to live somehow. Now where could she be? Ah, there she is. Huh?
After seeing the uncloaked figure of the woman attacking me, I couldn’t help but gape in astonishment. Hayate’s words passed through my mind. ‘Reinforce… She’s alive.’ Okay, now this is just surreal. She looks EXACTLY like the Unison Device Nanoha and Fate fought in the videos I’ve seen. Only this time, she’s standing on a White Belka symbol instead of black. Is this a good thing? Heck, I don’t think I’m in any position to take any comfort in seeing that she’s not using a corrupted energy now. I restored my energy rifle device into a card and replaced it in my pocket, engaging the statuesque woman in a staring contest.
“…………………….” Looking nonchalantly at me, ‘Reinforce’ raised a hand and started amassing a simply massive amount of pure white energy in a sphere. Right, if this is indeed Reinforce, why is she attacking me then? Is this about Hayate? What? It’s not like I violated her or anything. My lips turned up into a cynical smile. Or maybe, I should be worrying about not getting hit by this particularly large energy ball instead of thinking about how a woman’s mind works. From the looks of things, it would seem like playing mind games with her is out of the question. She’s like a doll that cannot be fooled in the first place by words. Oh joy.
Fine then. I raised my right arm and discharged my spell gauntlet. The small explosion of two cartridges worth of energy engulfed my arm and sword as I prepared for a counter. Sorry. But getting hit by massive amounts of magical energy is not my cup of tea. I also gathered a large amount of magical energy from my surrounding area, forming a column of cobalt energy. Loading three cartridges from unit 01,
[Saturation Blade EX]
After a brief flash of light, I was now holding a seven meter long energy blade of high magical density with my sword as a base. I pointed it at the quickly approaching ball of energy, “Attack!” I fired off the energy blade and it pierced her attack, setting off a large explosion, blowing me back a few meters before I cast my next spell. Afterwards, she could still be seen at her previous position. She’s not rushing me. So this means that I’m just here to throw everything I got at her while she effortlessly shrugs them off. Geez. My role seems so insignificant now. In any case, she’s still looking at my illusionary clones now. Good. While still invisible, I replaced the cartridge holder of my weapon. I decided to take the offensive for a bit. I sent a mental note to Almaria about the planned tactics. She, in response, glowed momentarily in assent.
I guess I was just pushing my luck after all. While the Mirages worked in fooling her, allowing me to land a couple of clean hits, I never expected her to use Fate’s Sprite Zamber to completely shatter all the illusions in the area. This is really getting too excessive. She vastly outguns me in almost every aspect! Be it power, overall speed or defense. And to make things worse, she’s rushing me now! At least I’m still alive due to quick thinking on my part. But I’m not sure how long I can hold.
“Excelion Buster: Barrel Shot, Force Burst”
Right, we’ve been going at it for an entire hour now. I swear, this lady has even more magical stamina than all my ‘nieces’ combined! She’s been firing off such powerful spells without a hitch for up to now!
[Pyramid Shield]
I flung out Reishiki to cast a wide pyramid of dense magical energy. I managed to block the overpowered shockwave and shots somehow. But-
“Jet Zamber”
“Damn!” Seems like she Sonic Moved behind me and attacked again. I loaded three cartridges in Unit 01 and blocked the shockwave followed by the deadly blade of energy, adding defense against the possible electric shock. Wait, then this means-
“Mistilteinn.”
“Atem des Eis.”
“Hayate’s moves now?!” Twelve spears of petrification and four cubes of freezing came rushing down towards my head. And I’m STILL busy trying to blocking the two earlier attacks. Figures, she’s rushing me even more. I commanded a high amount of magic particles to form a defense above my head; discharging my spell gauntlet and left spell boot in the process for additional protection from status-alterations.
[Panzer Festung]
A dome of extremely powerful defense formed a protective canopy above me, shielding me from the two spells. The shots rained down, pushing me downwards despite being designed as status-changers. I was pushed down even more by the still continuing Excelion Buster and Plasma Zamber.
Hey! Isn’t this a bit much? I concentrated more energy into my defenses as the innumerable lightning spikes and the four energy rays hammered at me from above. As I approached the ground, enormous spikes of energy burst from the earth and headed straight at me. With much strain, I also formed a guard against these by discharging my remaining spell boot. Just when I thought it couldn’t get worst, I saw a dismembered hand pierce through my chest, clutching what seems to be my Linker Core.

Like I'd let you! "Almaria!"
[Understood. Purging. Isolierung Falsch]
My cape, capable of releasing six cartridges worth of force, exploded in a burst of energy before being converted into a shockwave of foreign magic isolation. Everything that didn’t give off my magic signature was effectively blown off the vicinity. I felt my Linker core become secure again after two seconds. Not wasting time, I flew away from the area and scanned my surroundings for ‘Reinforce’. I saw her just as she was raising her hand to fire from the formation of one large Mid-Childa sigil surrounded by eight smaller ones. This is Hayate’s tactical bombardment spell!
“Hresvelgr...” she said with her right arm raised and ready to drop as a trigger action.
Sigh… No rest for the disadvantaged one? My head is starting to hurt from all this manipulation. Not to mention I don’t have much energy left for reforming my instant spell gear. Guess I’ll just have to go autopilot. I tossed unit 01 over to my left hand and I slotted open Almaria to punch in a short series of buttons. I felt the magic particles react to the manual command.
“Ready, Almaria?”
[Yes, Chief.]
I thrust my sword downwards causing a large Mid-Childa sigil forming at the tip. After formation, I dragged the symbol and sword to aim forward, all the while automatically absorbing magic particles into the circle.
[Blaze Phoenix.]
I thrust my sword into the sigil, sending out a cobalt figure of a phoenix soaring towards the target. It doesn’t end there, though. Following through, I drew out one of my Roulettes and attached it in place of Unit 01’s normal loader. Two consecutive clicks followed as twelve cartridges of energy were loaded into the sword. I instantly felt it vibrate violently due to the high concentration of energy. “Conjunction Assault: Option VI.”
[Understood. Acceleration Field: Catapult]
A powerful field of acceleration energies formed where the spell circle was earlier, outlined by a Belka symbol this time. I looked at my sword with a sharp pang of regret. You’ve done a lot for me today. I’ll make sure I’ll take better care of your successor; maybe I’d even give him a proper name. I inserted my sword into the symbol, instantly feeling the monstrous pull of the catapult. Before releasing the sword, I let out a command just as ‘Reinforce’ fired her spell.
“Buster Phoenix!”
Unit 01 was slung forward in an astounding speed and caught up with the Blaze Phoenix earlier. Upon contact, the sword exploded and enlarged the outline of the Phoenix into ten times it size, with the wings folded back slightly now; and also accelerating it to the earlier speed of my sword.
The clash of the two attacks was incredibly explosive. The ground reached by the explosion was vaporized instantly by the conflicting energies. I must say, this clash is nothing short of amazing. That attack had more power than a single Breaker spell! Heck, if this were a TSAB administered planet, battleships would surround us right now. But this isn't really the time for daydreaming while watching fireworks, is it?
I reactivated Unit 02 and reloaded the cartridge container. Alright, "Restriction Shot: Struggle Bind." I aimed at her general direction. She isn't moving yet, I just know it. Not stopping, I drew out two spell cards, activated them, and sent the two floating in front of the charging barrel, "Shot Options: Blitz Rush and Tracking." After loading five cartridges, I fired off the shot, going through both cards as well. Despite my fatigue, I decided that I'll have to use this spell as well.
[Sonic Move]
In a flash of movement, I was now behind a restrained 'Reinforce'. Seems like the shot was successful. Her arms and wings were pinned to her body while her legs were bound together by the glowing chains of my Struggle Bind.... Well, she's not changing appearance even with the Struggle Bind wrapped around her. This is her real appearance? Then, could it be? I guess this small confirmation will suffice for the moment.
Approaching her from behind, I draped my right arm around her shoulders, also slightly leaning on her for support due to exhaustion... Damn, hopefully this doesn't look like I'm hitting on her. Grinning, I scolded her like how I scolded Hayate after our first mock battle years ago, "Naughty girls get the Bind. Now, can you talk to me instead of trying to blow my head off?"
"............................."
I couldn't help but arc an eyebrow in exasperation when she plaintively ignored me and looked down sideways, trying to move her arms and releasing an amount of magic power that even I felt; they couldn't move. Next, she looked lower and tried shifting her legs against the bonds; the result? Still the same.
"Hey, the least you can do is look at me when I talk to you. After all, you almost killed me for around fifty times today." I tried making my voice sound as disappointed as possible.
She slowly lifted her head, and then looked sideways at me with her head tilted slightly. Heh. Well, if it weren’t for the situation, I’d be commenting on how stunning her eyes are. Nonetheless, her eyes betrayed no emotion, just matching my stare with a blank one of her own. The smallest crease formed on her delicate brow as she gave me the slightest of frowns. Her eyelids drooped for a micrometer. She looked forward and announced her next move.
“Reactor Purge.”
Her armor (Barrier Jacket) reacted to her command; blowing away the binds in a powerful explosion.
… Really now, don’t you dare think I didn’t expect that.

I used Sonic Move to get away, using an Acceleration Field facing the opposite direction for a quick stop. I took out the vibrating VKA 03, a dagger which has been loaded by my Roulette beforehand. I threw it at the Acceleration Field, where it shot towards the momentarily defenseless ‘Reinforce’ at a phenomenal speed. Not stopping, I punched in a manual command for Almaria.
[Stinger Blade: Execution Shift]
Upon contact, my dagger exploded with the force of twelve cartridges, followed by roughly around two hundred Stinger Blades. I grabbed my head. Argh… It’s starting to throb even more. I hope it’s over. She won’t be destroyed, I’m sure. But hopefully, the attack is enough to knock her out.
Just when I thought it was over, a wide beam of energy shot from the smoking area and headed straight for me. This time, I wasn’t able to defend properly and I got hit with around a quarter of the overall force of the shot. Damn, DAMN! Still not over?! I managed to catch myself before I completely dropped from the air.
A pulsating sphere of energy emerged quickly from the wreckage, later revealing the figure of Reinforce. How did she-? Wait, her wings are razed? That’s it! She used her wings to defend against my last attack!
Despite the serious damage to her magical wings, ‘Reinforce’ still kept her ever-steady poise while she looked at me as nonchalantly as ever. She assumed a crucifix position, and to my absolute amazement, started casting the spells that made her well renown in the past few days.
“No way…”
I couldn’t believe my eyes. I’ve heard the details first hand from Hayate. But I never imagined it would be THIS powerful! It’s not like I’ve never seen them do these moves at well. But this is just overkill!
[Chief!] Almaria called me. I’ve never heard such urgency from her voice in the several years I’ve been with her. But she’s right. This isn’t the time to be gawking at this little show of fireworks. I grit my teeth and let out a small growl of frustration. Looks like I’ll have to-
[Chief, requesting permission for Battle Plan X.] And now she’s even suggesting that? Well, theoretically it could- No. Not in my present condition.
“No. It’s Battle Plan Y. Ready, Almaria?”
[But Chief, estimates show only a 16.67% chance of-]
“You know I hate gambling, don’t you? But now, there are six sides on the dice. One of them is blue. And I’m betting against the odds! Just focus on keeping yourself alive so I can focus on doing this! Trust me, Almaria…”
[… Understood, Chief. Please be careful…] I felt Almaria’s magic signature diminish to almost none upon activating her safety mode. Now figuratively alone, I faced my executioner and opened up another telepathic link.
‘Really now… What do you take me for? I’m just a simple researcher who happens to know your Mistress.’
I took out my three remaining Roulettes, attaching one to Reishiki’s base and flipping a switch on the two others, triggering their grenade mode.
‘I don’t know what you want, and to be honest I’m not sure I want to know. However, I also have future assignments aside from keeping alive right now. So, would you mind if I try to avoid my death sentence? Don’t think that I’d let you be the only one to give the finale on our little date.’ I terminated the link and flew upwards to slightly below her level and several meters away. This is the last…
She just kept on looking at me, outlined between a gigantic Belka Sigil behind her. The lower left point had a massive sphere of gathering energy, the lower right had a towering pillar of light that seemed to suck in lightning from the heavens and the one on the tip bore a smaller Belka symbol, the three points drawing energy from the center.
I could only barely make out what she’s saying from such distance. But I’m perfectly sure what she’s saying right now. They are:
Starlight,
“Starlight…”
Plasma Zamber,
“Plasma Zamber…”
and Ragnarok.
“Ragnarok…”
And since I’m sure I’m correct, may I have this final dance, my lady?

They are reflected strongly in my open eyes.
The last shot is a stil that shows Schwertekruez Null's in her keyblade form and the Tome of the Night Sky in the middle of the flower field, with nothing else around them...
Part 11 is coming soon...hopefully. Ironic how Saturday and Sundays are the times where I can post the least, despite having no classes.

I threw it at the Acceleration Field, where it shot towards the momentarily defenseless ‘Reinforce’ at a phenomenal speed. Not stopping, I punched in a manual command for Almaria.
[Stinger Blade: Execution Shift]
Upon contact, my dagger exploded with the force of twelve cartridges, followed by roughly around two hundred Stinger Blades. I grabbed my head. Argh… It’s starting to throb even more. I hope it’s over. She won’t be destroyed, I’m sure. But hopefully, the attack is enough to knock her out.
Just when I thought it was over, a wide beam of energy shot from the smoking area and headed straight for me. This time, I wasn’t able to defend properly and I got hit with around a quarter of the overall force of the shot. Damn, DAMN! Still not over?! I managed to catch myself before I completely dropped from the air.
A pulsating sphere of energy emerged quickly from the wreckage, later revealing the figure of Reinforce. How did she-? Wait, her wings are razed? That’s it! She used her wings to defend against my last attack!
Despite the serious damage to her magical wings, ‘Reinforce’ still kept her ever-steady poise while she looked at me as nonchalantly as ever. She assumed a crucifix position, and to my absolute amazement, started casting the spells that made her well renown in the past few days.
“No way…”
I couldn’t believe my eyes. I’ve heard the details first hand from Hayate. But I never imagined it would be THIS powerful! It’s not like I’ve never seen them do these movs at well. But this is just overkill!
[Chief!] Almaria called me I’ve never heard such urgency from her voice in the several years I’ve been with her. But she’s right. This isn’t the time to be gawking at this little show of fireworks. I grit my teeth and let out a small growl of frustration. Looks like I’ll have to-

The lower left point had a massive sphere of gathering energy, the lower right had a towering pillar of light that seemed to suck in lightning from the heavens and the one on the tip beared smaller Belka symbol, the three points drawing energy from the center.
I could only barely make out what she’s doing from such distance. But I’m perfectly sure what she’s saying right now. They are:

Aw... Two souls wrought with agony, lonely hearts finding sudden rapport, and yet they are unable to escape the cruel scissors of the sisters of fate... It conveys a lot of feeling there, and I say it's a perfect fit! Quite a contrast to the poppy light-headed New Velka Chronicles.

Xealot was first found severely wounded on a distal planet of the TSAB (notably within half a kiloparsec from Megiddo) around the time a report was made by Lt. Glock Heckler regarding alien life forms on the archaelogical planet. When scientists made an attempt to experiment on it, it went berserk and slayed the team, ingesting their flesh and regenerating itself. Several Enforcer teams did their best to put it down, but it was the efforts of renown xeno-biologist and Saint Church training coordinator Setra das Oracle who managed to establish a mental link with the creature, discovering his name as Xealot, and convinced him that the Enforcers weren’t the “Red Ones” who he had been escaping from.
Once placate, Setra treated him as it was with any sentient creature she had encountered in her long lifetime. From there, more of his past came to light: His race had been enslaved by another, which he called the Teraglynsis, generations before, and he and some of his brethen managed to escape to a human world, but due to the raving mad actions of the demented few, they were deemed hostile and exterminated. He ran at first sign of danger, doing a blind blink to any random location, and found himself floating in some kind of void he had never seen before. The next thing he knew was that something yanked him out of the void and he went comatose from planetary impact.
Xealot moved to the zoological department, the center of xeno-biologist attention from all over Ordered Space, but with Setra’s supervision. He was granted refugee status, but for the sake of the MCeans he couldn’t leave the compound.
Proposed additional history
One day, he couldn’t take it and longed to escape. His mental songs of loss, confusion and boredom reached out far and wide, a faint buzz in the psynet system with left engineers scratching their heads. This lead him to another important person in his life, the infamous “Hell Girl“, Enna Mai. While cruising the psynet, Xealot found a bare-boned netpage that merely said “We shall remove the sorrow of the person whose name is entered here.“ And Xealot did.
Mai responded, but she wasn’t afraid of him, not even remotely surprised, but instead offered a listening ear. They have become friends since.
I hope Mai set up an interesting "Aunt Iggy" service inspired by the Jigoku Tsunshin...
In case you can't tell, Xealot is a Zoat, an extinct genus of the Tyrannid.

He had a prodigious ability to assimilate the cultures (language, customs, practices) of other races, thus acting as diplomatic conduits for when he was still enslaved. Can transform his forelimbs and parts of his carapace into biological weapons. Regenerates rapidly with ingested flesh.
Background
Xealot was first found severely wounded on a distal planet of the TSAB (notably within half a kiloparsec from Megiddo) around the time a report was made by Lt. Glock Heckler regarding alien life forms on the archaelogical planet. When scientists made an attempt to experiment on it, it went berserk and slayed the team, ingesting their flesh and regenerating itself. Several Enforcer teams did their best to put it down, but it was the efforts of renown xeno-biologist and Saint Church training coordinator Setra das Oracle who managed to establish a mental link with the creature, discovering his name as Xealot, and convinced him that the Enforcers weren’t the “Red Ones” who he had been escaping from.
Once placate, Setra treated him as it was with any sentient creature she had encountered in her long lifetime. From there, more of his past came to light: His race had been enslaved by another, which he called the Teraglynsis, generations before, and he and some of his brethen managed to escape to a human world, but due to the raving mad actions of the demented few, they were deemed hostile and exterminated. He ran at first sign of danger, doing a blind blink to any random location, and found himself floating in some kind of void he had never seen before. The next thing he knew was that something yanked him out of the void and he went comatose from planetary impact.
Xealot moved to the zoological department, the center of xeno-biologist attention from all over Ordered Space, but with Setra’s supervision. He was granted refugee status, but for the sake of the MCeans he couldn’t leave the compound.
Proposed additional history
One day, he couldn’t take it and longed to escape. His mental songs of loss, confusion and boredom reached out far and wide, a faint buzz in the psynet system with left engineers scratching their heads. This lead him to another important person in his life, the infamous “Hell Girl“, Enna Mai. While cruising the psynet, Xealot found a bare-boned netpage that merely said “We shall remove the sorrow of the person whose name is entered here.“ And Xealot did.
Mai responded, but she wasn’t afraid of him, not even remotely surprised, but instead offered a listening ear. They have become friends since.
I hope Mai set up an interesting "Aunt Iggy" service inspired by the Jigoku Tsunshin...

Do we have an eldar character yet? I'll be happy to make one if there isn't.. Although he/she may not get along very well with Xealot, especially if they're from Iyanden..

Actually, the only reason Cass reminded me of Eldar is because of one of her spells (STARCANNON? The most feared Eldar anti-infantry weapon )

Tried to come up with a list of Seiyuus for my characters and it appeared to be not easy Every time I have someone in mind he/she turns out to voice a bunch of absolutely OOC characters as well (which are mostly better known on top of that). What a pain ...

Mirian - Manami Komori (for Jam Kuradoberi's voice )
Sarah - Mariko Suzuki
Ramsus - Show Hayami (for Nicholas D. Wolfwood )
Anatoly - Jouji Nakata (was considering assigning him to Serge, but most of the characters voiced by him sound too mature; also I was surprised to see him having a role in MGLN )
Serge - none yet, my brain refuses to believe that Wilhelm (Xenosaga) was voiced by Nobuyuki Hiyama

I just had a long hard time translating from the original hard copy drawing on graphical section paper- which i drew six years ago.
VERY BIG SWORD (still, no comparison to the Zankantou ). Although that bladed crossguard is gonna make handling extremely difficult, it's like stabbing your wrist everytime you hold it. It's a nice and beautiful design though

It'd be quite OOC Every single seiyuu I considered assigning to Serge (based on some particular character they voiced) appears to have several better known roles which can hardly be associated with him - that's terrible
