Since it's Bern's game, she can't really just steal it from BatoBeato. So she does her own game with her own detective - Leon. Battler and Beato are absent because they'd ruin the game and prevent her from extracting the truth from the board.

There's a screen with Krauss in it though!

Well, if 'Leon' is a guy, then let's just say there's a great opportunity for Umineko in the yaoi section in Winter Comike. I only saw one Wright/Leon doujin so far and the Leon there seemed kinda ... girly. So maybe people haven't caught on just... yet... hmmm...

I wouldn't call Leon a trap, considering they're wearing more male orientated clothes. Zepar and Furfur are traps because they are both wearing female clothes, but one of them is a male.

His nickname is Wizard Hunting Wright, that's been in Umineko since ep. 5. He's part of the SSVD group, which uses Van Dine's rules. His real name is Willard "Will" Wright.

Yes.

The relationship between the characters is completely ruined, particularly between Battler and Beatrice. Several key clues and red texts are left out. Episodes 5 and 6 will refer to things the anime never showed. I could go on, but you get the point.
