It's really a semiauto 20mm grenade launcher bolted to a compact 5.56mm NATO assault rifle. It's called OICW.

Failed to pass the requirement about weight and price (They are 10 times the price of bog standard M-16, and more than twice in weight).

It was supposedly fire airburst grenade, meaning that the grenade is akin to anti-air missile, with microchip and all, and detonated midair when it reach desired range to kill everyone inside a room or hiding behind a wall. Required system is horribly bulky and expensive for a reason

Of course, I.S. verse took different path of technology and purpose and this become standard infantry weapon anyway, being much cheaper and lighter than the real life version

Honestly, I don't know. Does it ever shown that her I.S. enter a shift at all? As far as I can remember, she directly enter the team tournament boarding her I.S. manually. I might be wrong since I read that part randomly.

That's pretty cool. Though I still love the rifle line from HK, heck most models I like are HK. I only think of other companies due to specific guns like S&W for revolvers as well as FN herstal for its PDW series.

In my case. The guys use standard cartridges... probably to a maximum cartridge size without being overweight. They use technical specs to make up for lack of firepower.

Kanzashi's IS is basically a school Uchigane that they let her customize isn't it?

Hmm... they don't put up concept weapons on the official site... that saddens me. I find it somewhat ironic that Cecilia's English and my go to company for sniper rifles is Knight's armament company(though based in America, it sounds distinctly British). =))

I'm placing my money on can't... though it's only spare change =))

All my fanon corporation is from Front Mission instead. Kirishima Heavy Industry (Japan), Diable Avionics, Schnecker (USA), Intergehen (Germany), Jade Metal Lyman (Australia), Fire Valley (Canada) and so on

Hey, replace augs with IS and you basically have the same thing. THe only difference is it wouldn't be Rich vs Poor, rather it would be Pilots vs Non-Pilots. Tabane leads the Illuminati while JC Orimura tries to stop her.

Red: Destroy all IS at the cost of the destruction of mass communication.

Blue: Regulate IS use at the cost of putting Tabane higher in power.

Green: Merge IS and Human being together.

4th (My favorite): Screw all the other options and just shoot Tabane. Let fate sort out the rest.
