What I'm saying is that the animes have very little consistencies between themselves, even if they contradict the manga and LN a lot more.

The school part is a good question. What are the other schools?

As a non Touma example:

Motoharu Tsuchimikado has the Level 0 Ability Regeneration. He can recover from Cerebral hemorrhages due to this ability.

And he gets them when he uses his Onmyōji magics due to being a psyker who uses magic.

The moment you get involved with the Power Curriculum Program, you're given a Level and from that point on, considered an Esper. If you can't do anything special yet, either you're not doing it right, or your powers are still too weak to be detected.

So no, Level 0s and 'normal' humans aren't the same.

But level 0 and normal humans are considered the same. Just like what Aleister commented when styl ask if its safe to leave it to that boy and aleister said its alright his a level 0 just a normal human.

i believe that Aleister was relying on plausible deniability. If a Level 0 defeated a mage, he can say that it technically wasn't an ESPer who trashed a mage(and probably starting a mage vs AC war), and that it was a Level 0 - people who have been labelled as "no ability".

For me its almost the same. But I think because its a level 0 a normal human being then his not part of the science side even if his send by the academy. And it wouldn't make more ruckus than sending a real esper in battle.

I know this one's out of the current topic you're discussing, but I need to ask this question:

What are the names of the following people and the name of their esper ability or any Academy City-related term to their power?

> the fire-throwing guy from episode 1
> the Synchrotron girl (I just need to confirm if her name is really Ishi Kushiro)
> the girl with the asphalt-ability Flux-Coat

I can't translate their names (except for Ishi, which I managed to translate but with no confirmations on it) and/or they weren't spoken in the anime.

Railgun's gonna air for 24 eps.

There is a 16-day lapse between the Level Upper Incident and the Sisters Arc. (from the other thread). Anime-original stuff goes between.

Seeing how this goes, this will be a mini-arc or two, then the second major story arc (regarding that Margery Daw look-alike). Then the Sisters Arc will be the major story arc for the 2nd season of Railgun, if ever.

He's a Level 0. The tests can't detect Imagine Breaker.

That gap isn't completely clear. The events of the Railgun SS from the appendix book occur on the 1st of the month.
