(L) Fairy Tail Manga Discussion Thread

The school omake seemed to setup Erza and Jellal.

Anyway, having read the better version, I took a note of interest in one of Mashima's notes. Something about how the next arc is in planning, and he plans loads of loads of characters... basically practically everyone we've seen up until now.

That says that we're either going to see them up pop in the magic tournament, or there is gonna be some big world-changing battle. My guess is on the former. But as long as 90% of the characters are ones we've seen before, it should be okay. I just hate tons of new ones, heh.

How much you want to bet some evil guild or something is going to crash the tournament and make some kind of "You can never beat us." statement? Most likely backed by Zeref. Then they'll all have to work together to barely survive before evil guys leave.

Not out of the question, but imagine if it were to happen after the tournament. Wouldn't that be a twist.

Ok now theres a certain character thats really not been of much interest to me through out this series but this chapter has totally turned that around and with only 1 page at that!

For the chapter, as I'd expect from a fanservice chapter of Mashima, great stuff!

And another pretty awesome thing about this chapter,seems Mira-chan finally let her hair down, she looks like she's back to how she looked from the past, something I loved!

For the tourney, it should be pretty intersting seeing how things go there.
Honestly didn't think of it as anything other than a simple battle tourney buts thats not the case.
Battle in a sense but simply not just pummeling each other till one drops. To see the gang use there magic in other ways should be fun...hopefully.

p.s hope Elfman keeps the bandana.

I would be too vexed if something were to ever happen. I would rather stop reading manga because it would be unfair to Lisanna since even Mashime went his ways and put her back in story again in Edolas Arc. I'll always root for Natsu&Lisanna pairing if there will be so called "love route" for this series. Lastly I prefer Mira-nee with her hairs tied up not with her hair down like that at end of the chapter. I didn't like her old self at all to tell you truth so I want keep on seeing my gentle and kind Mira-nee from now on too <3!

Too bad the manga does hint Lucy x Natsu multiple times , eventhough i prefer Lisanna because they were friends with eachother since they were children.

I didn't get to talk about the last chapter, but tournaments excite me. Hopefully it means we get to see everyone fight a bit, like the last one.

I liked that we got to see Lucy gain some power in this a little. And rofl, not surprised at all they'd train like that. With Levy there, I hope she becomes part of the team, along with Juvia.
