Ok, so what you are saying is that your Naruto doesn't play.

Well, it would help to know what kind of file type it is, and then we can take steps to correct the error from there. Once you have determined that, go to http://www.filext.com/ and search for the extension of the file. It should give you a run down of what that extension is, and also steps to get it working.

If you don't want to do it yourself, then just post the file type, and i'll see what i can do.

Are you sure the download completed?
What episode and group is it from?
How did you download it, was it BT?
Have you been able to download and watch any other fansubs?
What codecs do you have installed?
What error messages are you getting?
What media player do you use for other funsubs?

My guess is that you haven't completed the download. After that, try this...

Since this question is asked so many times, this is a standard reply cut and pasted

9 timeout of 10, this is a codec problem. Very easy to fix.

i) Download ffdshow 2004-07-25
ii) Remove all previously installed codecs you have, and I mean all.
iii) Install ffdshow.

Just in case it wasn't clear, uninstall all previously installed codecs, they only clash and interfere with each other. You only need ffdshow.

If you don't like the idea of removing all your old codecs, then don't, you may be able to resolve the problem by just updating or installing to the latest ffdshow codec (but the general consensus is to just have the one codec installed, there will be less problems that way).

Look at the stickies in the Playback Help forum to find the latest version of ffdshow (see this thread).

Plus I would recommend downloading and using the latest version of Media Player Classic (2000/XP or 98/Me build)

The naruto movie torrent was a fake. It is an .img file, correct? Nothing works because it is a FAKE.
