But KyoAni has been making tons of cash off of K-ON, and that's the only reason I think they even bothered to make !!. (S1 wrapped everything up nicely, would have been a nice end). Can't say the same for Clannad, since all that KyoAni could sell for Clannad were DVDs (and maybe some figures); any soundtracks, books, random Broccoli merch, the original game itself, etc. was done through Key/VisualArt's, and only Key/VisualArt's reaped those profits. On the other hand, the only thing I think KyoAni isn't getting money for from K-ON is the manga itself, that's it; KyoAni practically owns the entire K-ON empire.

I'm also just generally not fond of Toei's animation style, its not that I'm particularly fond of KyoAni's either. lol, I sincerely apologize |

Kanon 2002 wasn't all that bad (I'd still watch it again if I could find it). The OVA was also chinteresting.

i had a very strong sudden urge to look up new info on anything related to planetarian. there was nothing. i'll be the first to say i hate people bumping this thread and giving false hope (heck, there's probably a post of me in the last few pages saying such a thing a few years ago). But now i'm listening to the best tracks on the OST and its making me long for it. I need something that'll make me bawl my eyes out, and i know this will do it.
