They get off topic temporarily. And when it becomes too much, posts are deleted. If you want an unmoderated forum, I suggest finding a different place.

Well, to equalize things, like Alchemist said. To counter-balance off-topicness before it becomes spam. Because even the hottest topics become wrung-out and hard to discuss. Then we put on our old rant/spam-hats. Then the moderators come, delete posts, then we get back onto the newest (episode) topic. Then it starts over again. It's the routine of the site.

I'd get sick of that quick especially for a form that does as much as Bleach forums do
