argh....well episode 2 won't have that much sensors cuz the situation is not pervert and is a great chapter, looking foward to seeing it animated.

Guys, let's forget about censorship, since AT-X version is unreliable anymore (Buying the uncensored DVDs is the only solution right now).

Aaah, Lala and Haruna's appearance began to pushed aside by Momo and Yami, even though those two are my favorite heroines.

Creative censorship is what the manga is doing (toes, tails, fingers, hair, and various objects obstructive the view of genitelia). The anime has lazy censorship... huge blurring bars that do not require creativity or effort.

Anyway, I also don't see the point of the TV anime in it's current form, and the official subs (in retro '90s yellow fonts) just makes the whole deal a lot worse.

I know for most of us, it's not uncommon for even AT-X to fall victim to censorships, but I can't help but feel that some people look at this and go, ;__;, Et Tu, AT-X?

Don't be surprised if that's what we end up talking about for the next few days. Expectations were not met, and for some, seeing certain scenes without censorship was the one thing worth waiting for. Although I will agree that discussing the story with or without the beams is still quite possible.

I'm wondering where this show will head? Will Momo succeed in her task? Or will Rito ultimately turn her down and go with Haruna? Considering Rito's unavoidable king of the galaxy destiny, I'm going to bet that Momo will succeed.

Other than that, this new girl, Kurosaki Ichigo... errr... Mea seems to be a possible hired hand like Yami. +1 for harem members, I guess. I'm going to laugh if they introduce a new guy for the harem, though.

He'd be a complete dumbass, if he chooses that path; while dumping all the others. That ain't gonna fly in this series, considering the amount of air time devoted to many of the girls.

Probably it'll be difficult to guess, since thus far Rito only has eyes to Haruna and (recently) Lala. More over, he doesn't seem aware that Momo or Haruna are in love with him......he might not even realize that Kotegawa has feelings towards him. After all, none of them have confessed to him directly, and we all know what that leads to......

Other than that, i guess we won't need to guess where this series is heading to (since probably it will end up in cliffhanger again just like its predecessor). Darkness also doesn't seem to reflect on its prequel's flaws, it's pretty much the same old story of Rito helping girls with his kindness and girls falling for him, plus the typical violent jealousy but outright denial from the girls, mainly Kotegawa (WHAM! "I'm hitting you because....because you're a pervert and not because I like you or I'm jealous, okay? Don't misunderstand me!")

Just saw the first episode. Censorship was a shame but expected but damn IT WAS STILL GLORIOUS! Ever since reading the first few chapters of the Manga I've been waiting for an anime version (need to go back and carry on reading), but by god. Yui/Yami/Momo in a harem. Rito you lucky son of a gun, your life is amazing. T_T

Well, I must give credit where credit is due - it seems that it was a faithful attempt at adapting the source material, which is always a plus in my book.

But to be honest I think I will wait for the uncensored material to become available before attempting to watch it (although I will give it one more try with ep 2).

I do have faith that Momo will be successful with her goal. Might take a bit of brainwashing to break through Rito's normal state, but I just can't see this many girls falling for this guy only to have 99% of them left hurt in the aftermath. Someone that kind will have to do 'the right thing' and make a damn harem

As to the state of censorship here....does seem like waiting for the dvd/blu-ray will be the key thing. It's not about just seeing things, but not being blinded by these stupid rays of light. I want to at least see something or else it's just listening to radio
