Watched episode 3:
Nice episode as usual. Had a good laugh at chiya and Cocoa doing that ballet pose - the suddenness in which they did it got me by surprise. Not remember the name of Chino's friend.. but also laughed at the joke where the friend said "if you don't have leotard, you can use swimsuit".

Finally rock/paper/scissors victory is mine! Believe in the power of the rock and you shall be saved!
Oh right the episode also happened . I did enjoy this one, a lot of fun and some good laughs. This time a lot of focus being on Cocoa, but also some more attention given to the Chino, Megu, and Maya trio. It was nice just to take in that it's basically been a year since Cocoa first arrived. A nice chance to take in how things have and haven't changed since that time . A fair point given by Chino's grandfather at the end. Growth is something that others will see even if you don't show it off. The moment Cocoa's improvement was noticed was when they weren't thinking about it. She has matured in a lot of ways, although she is still hilarious in how she reacts to things. It's an interesting situation in a sense. Cocoa flipping back and forth between her position as the youngest in her family and her desire to be this great older sister figure to Chino. I'm sure this is an encounter Chino is curious about as well since this is Cocoa's real sister arriving on the scene. Just a lot of fun between the two halves of the episode. Enjoyed the fun at the cafe and then the Cocoa panic mode in the second half. Her trying to force herself into this super responsible person was kind of scary. Though was pretty funny seeing her struggle so hard not to hug Chino in that state of having stuffed animals tied to her . A nice chance for reflection in a sense with everyone thinking about Cocoa in their own way. Syaro and Chiya having a nice chat by themselves was good. Syaro probably could use a bit more confidence herself. Plus I do like little scenes like the one in Rabbit House where Chino does look bothered by the attention that Megu and Maya get from Cocoa. A kind of "hey, I'm supposed to be your little sister in this place" kind of reaction . Quote:

Im really looking forward to the next episode, thanks to today's episode building up.
In the end I still do not know what is this about "Special Theory". Cocoa, she is truly the main character. Spoiler for Rock Paper Scissors:

This toes the line for being on-topic, but to quote my blog post:
I'll have to let the physicists in here explain better, since this isn't my discipline

Ep 4
Defeated! Yeesh.... So my record is: Ep 1: no idea a match wasgoing on Ep 2: victory Ep 3: spaced out...forgot to play Ep 4: defeated So...umm...one win, one loss, and two "no shows", I guess? By the by, I have no idea why, but somehow the idea of Chino being a master of drunken fist kung fu made me roar with laughter. Loved the scene between Chiya and Syaro, but throughout much of the ep I found myself really feeling sorry for poor Cocoa. The youngest in her family with some kind of immensely strong personalitied older sister...so much so that just hearing her coming evokes dead-eyed trauma and uncertainty? It somehow casts her interactions with Chino in a quietly sad light for me.... Was not expecting that. Am now quite curious to see what will happen.

Overall, great episode as always, but of course I'm more exited for the next episode. While I won't be playing janken, I'm gonna try predicting who will be the one doing it at the end of next episode. It'll most likely return to Chino next time with both hands have different combinations so players beware. There is an off chance it may turn out to be Cocoa's big sis who is the one do it. P.S. : Who is the artist for this episode's end card? |

Rize was right, every time Cocoa acts 'serious' she loos like an impostor, i mean who is this girl? that's not her
& revealed Cocoa also has two older brothers, either its just me Syaro's voice sounded older when she talked to the cafe's waitress about the one free drink coupon.

Yes! Another victory for me in Janken! The power of rock carried me through.
Chimame remains adorable. Actually they kind of felt more adorable this week, somehow. No need to be more of a baka, Cocoa, your sister is just coming to see you. Just be yourself. That's how you've accomplished what you've accomplished since you moved there, so why break the pattern? Looking forward to meeting Onee-chan.
