I think you can get it to work with one of those proxy services. Was in a game earlier with the laggiest host ever, who ended up admitting he was from South America.

I'm going have to say this but... Evie sucks as a standalone character, she's better off working as support...

Her DPS is great, but I see scythe Evie's drop left and right on tough boss fights. A front liner with crap defense requires utmost skill, it's too bad I haven't seen anyone with such skill yet. Although I'm not half bad, I can solo all of Hoarfrost with her, but it's a much slower process than with my Fiona.

yeah and it burns your STAM like crazy, so if you're not careful and paying attention you could end up taking a heavy hit. Its not hard to lose track of your stamina.

Reduces an additional stamina per level, and it's pretty cheap, so it's pretty good.

Anyways, stamina management is an issue with Evie, but once you've gotten that down, she's pretty damn good.

I think fastest Red tyrant solo run is Lann at around 6 minutes, followed by Scythe Evie at 7 minutes or so.

Leveling up blink barely edges the stamina cost. I was soloing Hell Beyond the Door Hard + Season of Macha, and got 1hko'd cause I got a little careless.

I'm not saying she is bad, I'm only saying her paper thin defenses are. For a "average" player, they require a team, she's more unforgiving with mistakes than other characters are.

The translation on the Blink stamina skill usage is wrong, it's not %based, it's straight up reduction. At rank A your blink will cost 33 stamina instead of 39 at F, which is a pretty good reduction.

Thin defenses mean more care play. Even lann or fiona have trouble soloing at max level, their defenses are better. The only boss I could think of is red tyrant. But hell once Nexon uncap the lvls anyone could solo that dude.

With Fiona I can solo all available bosses, I haven't tried the White Tyrants Challenge solo yet, but will give it a shot some time. I only fought him a couple of times.

Not just anyone can solo the harder bosses though, too many level 38's I've seen can't even use their shield on Fiona, and Lan's dropping like flies cause they think they're god with their spinning action. And forget Evie's actually using their blink properly, most of them have the same mentality as Lan players.

That makes the players bad, not the class.

So I intend to play this after reformating my computer, what's the downtime between combat periods like? Is it annoyingly grindy? Is there anything to do other then kill stuff all day?

it's grindy if you make it so, the game has only been out for a month so content is fairly low... They're basically adding new content every month. But for now it's just killing monsters. There's almost no "downtime", how long it is depends on what you have to do in town.

Well I am slightly disappointed there is no large two handed sword but. OMG Manly fist action I heartily approve.

Does it seem a little.. cartoony though?
