Well, the trailer shows an Oozaru. And the word "God" is said in English (well, Katakana), which is how they do all the other forms for a Super Saiyan. I don't believe it'll be a true "god", but who knows wtf it means exactly at this point.

Also, I liked how in the trailer, it showed SSJ3 Goku in what was likely the first fight against Bills (I still like T4S's "Virus" idea for his name) and doing nothing, and then showed SSJ2 Goku fighting Bills in space and keeping him on his toes. You heard it here, first! SSJG is an offshoot of SSJ2!

^ GT never counted, my friend. It's always been filler made by Toei themselves; it's not Toriyama's work.
This movie already basically spoiled how Bils will be beaten, which is through the Super Saiyan God transformation/form. I'm curious as to what it will look like and just how powerful it will be.

Mine would be Piccolo when he becomes a teacher. Also Gohan post Saiyan Invasion is one of my favorite as he starts "rebeling."
Weird thing is that my favorite take on Goku was in the Cell arc when he looks like a complex character for the first time. |

Probably Piccolo for me. He's a cool character (pretty obvious that Toriyama liked him) and he had the best character development in the series. He was great during the Raditz arc and then the Saiyan arc, and his fight against 17 was one of the best in the anime.
Tienshinhan and the Turtle Hermit are also great characters, but they fall too far off the radar as time goes on. Turtle Hermit was especially great during the Jackie Chun period when he was a source of comedy but also a badass and formidable fighter. His super muscular form that destroyed the moon was pretty sweet. For some reason I have a soft spot for the martial art movie cliche of the badass old master. |

I think fusion eventually killed the series though. All the weird Goku/Vegeta Buu/Everyone combos blurred the uniqueness of the characters. So, I'm glad to see them going another direction!

Favorite character...hmm...Goku was my favorite character then Vegeta showed up, he's now my favorite character along side Goku. Others probably Trunks and Piccolo.
Now I wonder if they will state if GT is not canon. I really want to hear from Toriyama and Toei what is with GT. Anyways I think being Bills as a god probably it will be just a match for him and later on possible we can see Gohan going ultimate while Vegeta might go SSJ3 probably with again help of Bulma. Either way that blue aura probably is not strong enough to kill Bills or beat him in the movie.

I think this is a new trailer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-f2V4jmo8L0
Most of the footage looks old, though there's a few new scenes I don't recall from before (like Gotenks getting his ass kicked). The most noteworthy thing, however, is that Gohan is no longer shown being Super Saiyan in any of the scenes. |
