Hey guys, I have a problem, and I wonder if anyone's been having the same thing: I can't seem to play with other people using hamachi. I could do that before (like, 2 months ago or so... that was the last time I played), but now I can't seem to connect to a host, nor can anyone connect to me, even though we're using the correct IPs and shit. I have no idea what's causing this problem. I tried turning off my firewall, anti-virus, stuff like that, but still nothing.
Does anyone know how to solve this issue? |

Do you people live close enough to get a connection? The Ougon network is not that good and distance plays a very high factor in it. If you can't connect to other people that you managed to conect before, then I have no idea.

Howdy, does anyone have a collection of the loading screen portraits from the original? I'm trying to convert one of my arcade cabinets to play this and I need to make a move strip. I got a link of the basic outline here. The problem is for the non-Cross characters, they have all this announcement text in the corner, so I was going to copy the portrait over it to fix that. I already got a marquee and I'm putting off the control panel for now (because I'd have to actually design it). I got the portrait set for side art (from the VN), but without a move strip in the bezel and a control panel art swap, it'll look really weird (Soul Calibur 2 Control Panel to play Ougon Musou doesn't make a lot of sense).
Oh, and I forgot to ask, anyone know how the translation is coming? My google-fu told me that the original was only partially translated and no info on Cross Last edited by YdoUask; 2012-11-17 at 23:56. Reason: Forgot something |

That's a really great project
Please post some pics when it's finished I once did simple screenshots of all portrait loading screens. They are in 1920x1080, although I don't think that their native resolution is that high. But if you can use that, here you go: http://www.mediafire.com/?dlf21p707hjgvhs If you need more VN art, ask again Last edited by Mormel; 2012-11-22 at 18:33. Reason: know your resolutions |

@Mormel: Thanks, that's exactly what I needed. I don't got anything printed yet, but this is going to be the marquee. Still figuring out which would be better, but probably one of these three control panels
Spoiler for Very Large Images:
@Solkiskey Thanks, I had a little trouble understanding their move notation, but I figured it out (really wish they had a keybinder for cross, but I have a workaround ready @TwilightsCall Me too |

A quick update on the tournament website (yes, i still do that^^)
I just wanted to share a screenshot of some of the progress I'm making. The proper domain is also already bought Spoiler for Screenshot:
It is still work in progress. And keep in mind that I am no designer of any sort. But personally I think it turned out ok; at least I did everything by myself^^ Last edited by Mormel; 2012-11-23 at 22:05. Reason: better picture |

Thanks for the feedback
Right now I am focusing on the basic features. But before I put it on the web, I will really do my best to make it a little bit prettier^^ I think the website will be ready for the pre-tournament survey in max 2 weeks (obviously depends on how much time I can spare). That is just a small survey on how tournament stuff should be handled. Hope to see you then |
