So Io does not really sees Tsumiki as love interest until the end of this episode? He's just teasing Tsumiki for fun all this time, then? Ah well, at least he finally begins to feel the same way, unless they're trolling us that Io is in fact has influenza
Another lesson this episode is don't ever make Io angry. Poor mosquito XD

It is only this episode that he realizes that he does not want to friendzone her. |

God damnit, between Tasogare Otome x Amnesia's ending and now Acchi Kocchi's ending, I'm literally so full of HHHNNNNNNNGGGGGGGG right now that I don't think I can take another drop...!
And there's still Sankarea's ending I haven't watch yet ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Mah~~ I was expecting something like that at the end of the Valentine Day's skit between Io and Tsumiki (Even then it was still bloody adorable And Tsumiki is now more cat than girl ), so I'm more happy for Kyouka to get Saki's attention, even if just a little bit All in all, best episode and the perfect one to end the show with

Excellent series, entertaining every week. Far more entertaining to me than a lot of the more prominent shows. I wished for a bit more intense an ending between Tsumiki and Io, but perhaps this is the signal that a second season is in the works. I hope so.
I liked this show a lot more than serenade_beta did, but his comment that Kill Me, Baby got better as it went along makes me want to look at more episodes of that. I only watched the first two and one more later, and was quite disappointed with the way it translated the humour of the manga. I agree that Acchi Kocchi didn't get better as it went along, but it started at a high level, for me, and maintained it. The one thing that did get better -- or at least grew on me -- was Nabatame Hitomi's work as Mayoi. Ookubo Rumi and Okamoto Nobuhiko were excellent throughout.

For me, it started out very entartaining in the first episode with Tsumiki Moe Kitty-ness then drop down a little during the game arc then made a comeback in the second half starting from episode 7, the summer camp episode which is the point where relationship started to develop.

You know, I'd completely forgotten Mayoi's 'crunchy frog' chocolates until they came up again.
I've adored this show completely, and I do so hope they make a second season as I think this show just got the characters and situations right for a romantic comedy. Come on season 2! |
