The monster form kinda grew on me. It reminded me of the one from... Underworld? I think... or maybe Blade.

On the surface they're pretty good looking, seductive and all that, but it's just a facade, underneath it all is a 'hideous monster'.

The Vampire Lord form is more reminiscent of Dracula from Van Helsing or the what's-his-face from Underworld 2. Drake from Blade 3... not so much.

Wooh, after reformatting my ssd and reinstalling windows and after hours of remembering and finding the mods I used, I finally got my character back in action.

My character as she looks right now..

I've never seen that one. But what I meant was that the model used in Underworld looks almost exactly the same as the one used in game.

There are basically two types of modern vampires in folklore; beautiful, or ugly. The Ugly version never really sell well because sex sells much better.

The Ugly version use illusions to disguise themselves. The beautiful version only transform themselves when they want someone dead. Fundamentally different but similar outcomes. It's like the difference between Elves and Orcs.

Might I ask which you are using? I started modding it up as I couldn't resist (the most tempting being damage mods, I need my headshot damage dangit!).
For visuals, I'm using HD 2k textures.

Ever since I installed the following mods (RCRN, Lanterns of Skyrim, and Camping Lite), I found spending time outdoors -- riding, hunting and camping -- hell a lot more enjoyable. Just for fun I gave my toon a Babydoll armor set:

Guess I have to learn about making my own armorset straight out from a school-themed Korean MMO I used to play.

Oh, yes! It made sense! Babydoll did took out a dragon, after all.

Today, I decided to take a step further by perusing the Juliet armorset, and a few sessions with Galathil the Face-fixer, which made my toon a ringer of a certain famous idol.

It's probably a good idea to get the haircut before the quest... that way you won't be pulling as much out navigating through the Vale.

As for pole-arms I haven't seen any on the workshop or nexus.
But this mod http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/19611 has a nice collection of weapons, and has 1 or 2 pole-arms.
