The whole lopmon thing felt like a cheap attempt to pull at our heart strings. Chuumon's death from season one had more impact.

The death general just got doublecrossed, i mean doubleX.
The part where taiki and kiriha spin their cross loader look very cheesy, i find it funny and abit of silly.

Which makes it kinda awesome as well!

I marathoned the series last week, mainly because of nostalgia and not having anything better to watch. I know there's cheesiness and all that jazz (not to mention that Taiki is a huge goody-eyes Mary-Sue in my book

), but I still find myself loving every moment of it. And well, I didn't expect I would enjoy a new Digimon series after so many years.

Can't wait for the next episode!

So it's look like we have a Evolution better than Mega. ^^ (Like a Super Mega.

Well of course in 35 Kiriha goes solo again. I swear it's probably going to become the norm that something is going to make him go his own way for at least part of the arc. Though can agree that sticking with Mervamon's attack from the front with no plan was hard to do. Not easy to stick with someone that pushy.

Still nice chance for Nene to use a DigiXros since she hasn't had many chances so far. A pretty strong combo. Plus it brought back the Xros Heart theme song which I think is better than some of the battle songs they've come up with lately.

How's everyone been doing for the past month?!

I got too lazy at being inactive with the episodes for a whole month.

So, here I reviewed the thirty-third episode. We got ourselves an excellent but tense cliffhanger to a shocking revelation.

Spoiler:

For the rest of the episode not bad in the least. Taiki continues doing his best, if it's not showing the purity of his heart against the enemy, devising logical tactics to get at NeoMyotismon's turf defenses render useless.

Kiriha spices up a lot their relationship between him and Taiki, because his opposing and lonely nature adds gravitas to the team overall. These allows for their interactions being not just dynamic but balancing the tone amongst the characters. Of course, I cannot forget about Nene that for the time being stays in the role of the passive peacekeeper to make amends between the two boys.

And, what if Lopmon turns out to be a trap?

Everyone of us believed at first that Cutemon was girl, before two months finding out that he's a boy, after all.

Only highlight is mervamon and finally the appearance of Nene's digicross scene. The ending for this arc is also less impressive than the previous 2. Wonder if there will be a tripleX?

Figured he'd start complaining that if Greymon isn't in the name then they are not using that form . Still this was pretty straight forward of an episode. Eliminate the honey supply, beat up the death general, and finally set things up with a confrontation with Nene's brother. __________________ Anime-Evo

Much to Kiriha's shock and a blow on his pride, that MetalGreymon got unwillingly digi-Xrossed by NeoMyotismon. For the rest of the episode not bad in the least.
